Day Shift June 23
23-007760- 1500 BLK Keeble Street- Theft- The caller advised that several thousand dollars of merchandise was stolen on the 21st of this month. There are currently no identifiable suspects.
23-007762- 941 Spring Creek Road- Disorder/Arrest- The caller advised a psychiatric patient was threatening hospital staff. Police spoke with the patient. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and assault.
No number assigned- 183 I-24 East- Disorder- The caller advised a female was being assaulted while inside a white van on the interstate. They advised the van exited the interstate then pulled into the church lot where the female exited the van. On scene the van had already left the area. Police spoke with the female. She advised the disorder was verbal only. She was given a courtesy ride.
Night Shift June 23
23-007771- 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded after two individuals were observed by a loss prevention employee to have stolen items from the previous day. Two suspects, a male and a female, were seen on security camera footage taking multiple items and leaving in a large white van. Pictures of the suspects were taken, and police were able to obtain an out-of-state registration for the suspect’s vehicle. A report is on file for the incident.
23-007781— Ringgold Road & Truman Ave – Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody after being found to have an active warrant out of criminal court for aggravated burglary.
Day Shift June 24
23-007800- 200 BLK Eads Street- Unconscious Person/AOA Warrant Service- Police were dispatched on an unconscious male in a vehicle. The man was located regaining consciousness. Dispatch informed officers that he had an outstanding warrant out of General Sessions. While taking him into custody, police located drug paraphernalia and Xanax in his vehicle. Police issued misdemeanor citations and transported him to Silverdale on county warrant.
23-007805- Welworth Avenue @ Yale Street- Property Damage- The caller claimed to have damaged his vehicle while driving over a pothole. A report was completed.
Night Shift June 24
23-007823 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder – An off-duty officer working security was summonsed for a disorder near the registration desk. As a result, a man was arrested for public intoxication & disorderly conduct.
23-007825 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Disorder – Police responded to this location regarding a male and female arguing about car keys. Police contacted the pair. Dispatch advised that the man had a valid warrant out of session for Assault. Police transported him to Hamilton County Jail.
23-007833 – 3800 BLK Cummings Highway – Arrest-Warrant – A party was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Driving on Suspended which was issued on May 6, 2021.
23-007840 – 1600 BLK Glowmont Drive – Domestic Assault – Police responded to an assault in progress, as a result two males were arrested related to the disturbance.
Day Shift June 25
There were several areas in the west and central affected by flash flooding during the earlier storm. All appear to be under control as of this report.
23-007847- 4222 Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/AOA Warrant Service- A man was detained and transported to Silverdale on county warrants following a traffic stop at this location.
23-007851- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A man was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
23-007853- Ringgold Road @ Germantown Road- Evading- While on patrol police attempted to stop a black Hyundai Elantra with a temp tag. The vehicle failed to stop and was last observed west bound on Ringgold Road toward the tunnel. After a short investigation, the vehicle was located in Chattanooga. Police spoke with the suspect but could not determine if he was the driver. Report on file.
23-007867- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A party was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
Night Shift June 25
23-007877 – 4600 BLK Maryland Drive – Property – Police responded to this residence regarding a property call after a neighbor’s tree fell into the homeowner’s yard causing damage to their shed and fencing.
23-007880 – 3800 BLK Tennessee Avenue – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Driving on Suspended License. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail by Chattanooga Police Department.
23-007886 – 800 BLK S Germantown Road – Pursuit of Vehicle – Police initiated a pursuit of a vehicle after observing the male driver acting erratic and appearing to be extremely intoxicated. After officers were successfully able to deploy spike stripes on the vehicle, the driver was taken into custody after refusing to exit the vehicle. He was subsequently charged with felony evading, resisting arrest, open container law, reckless driving, and Driving Under the Influence 2nd Offense.
23-007891 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI – Police arrested a man for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at this location.
