Day Shift June 21
24-007924- 300 BLK Frawley Road- Delayed Vehicle Burglary- The resident reported on 06/18/2024 at approximately 1542 hours, an unknown suspect entered his gray 1998 Chevy Astro van, which he had left unlocked, and stole several items. He stated the items stolen were a pair of work shoes, which he valued at $150, two Craftsman nail guns, valued at $250, and $300 worth of coins. The total value of the items stolen was $700. He believed his neighbor had security camera footage of the incident. Police spoke with neighbor regarding the theft. A silver 2013 – 2019 Ford Escape was observed pulling into the victim’s driveway at approximately 1543 hours. The camera did not capture any footage of the incident.
24-007930- Exit 2 I-75 North- Disorder- The caller advised she observed a disorder in the vehicle next to her on the interstate. Officers checked the area, but no disorders were located within East Ridge jurisdiction.
24-007934- 700 BLK South Seminole Drive- Unconscious Person- Police were dispatched with EMS on an unconscious female. Officers stood by while EMS handled the call.
Night Shift June 21
24-007950 – 3400 BLK Land Street – Citizen Check Well Being – Police were approached by a female party who was concerned for her friend’s safety after hearing she was stabbed and could not get in touch with her. Police checked the residence provided but were unable to contact anyone. The party later contacted her friend.
24-007952 – 600 BLK Maple Lane – Unknown Trouble – The caller advised officers that someone was at his house. After investigation, the caller was extremely intoxicated and gave police conflicting information on what his issues were. Police asked the male to call back when he was sober.
24-007954 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police interdicted a bicyclist riding without a light after dark in the 5600 block of Ringgold Rd. He was negative for warrants and a field interview was conducted. FI – 24-000122
24-007956 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on two Alias Capias warrants which were issued on January 10, 2024. The original charges were Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Simple Possession of Hydrocodone.
24-007961 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police were dispatched to a theft at gas station. The clerk told police a male entered the store, took several lottery tickets from the dispenser, and ran out the store. He was driving away a newer white minivan believed to be a Chrysler or Dodge. The clerk told police she believes the same suspect was responsible for a previous theft at this store in recent days. Both thefts are under investigation.
24-007963 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road – Field Interview – Police interdicted a bicyclist riding without a light after dark on the 5600 block of Ringgold Rd. He was negative for warrants and a field interview was conducted. FI – 24-000123
24-007965 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft –Officers responded after two male subjects left the business without paying for their meal. Both men were also observed to have stolen plates and dishes. Officers are currently seeking warrants regarding one of the suspects. A second male subject is still unknown and pending identification currently.
Day Shift June 22
24-007978- 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Unconscious Person- The caller advised of an elderly male passed out in a car. Officers spoke with the gentleman who advised he was just sleeping.
Night Shift June 22
24-007983 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse St – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location two subjects were taken into custody. A woman was charged with driving on revoked for DUI. Her male passenger was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.
24-007985 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – A man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and open container law following a traffic stop.
24-007990 – 6500 BLK Slater Road – Suspicious Activity – A caller advised he had witnessed a below driving-age male driving a white truck around the parking lot. When police arrived on scene there were approximately one hundred plus individuals having a truck meet in the lot. Officers advised the crowd they had till 11 pm and then they needed to vacate the property. They did not locate a juvenile male driving a truck.
24-007997 – 1100 BLK S Seminole Drive – Suspicious Activity – The caller advised police that there was a group of people in her neighbor’s yard digging a hole. Police responded and checked the area, and nothing was located.
24-008000 – 1000 BLK S Seminole Dr – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers observed a silver Infiniti sedan parked behind a closed business. Upon speaking with the occupant of the vehicle, he was found to have a warrant out of East Ridge for aggravated domestic assault. The subject was taken into custody without incident.
Day Shift June 23
24-008015- 6300 BLK Ringgold Road- Fight- The caller advised of several juveniles fighting in the parking lot. Police spoke with the juveniles, and they advised they were just playing.
24-008017- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder/Arrest- A man was arrested and charged with public intoxication following a disorder with his ex-girlfriend. He was transported to jail without incident.
Night Shift June 23
24-008035 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Narcotics/Weapons – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Lexus sedan for an equipment violation. Following a positive alert from a K9 unit, a woman was taken into custody on multiple charges. She was charged with possession of fentanyl for resale, possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
24-008022 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Intoxicated Person – Officers responded regarding an intoxicated male subject who was attempting to buy alcohol. After being denied the sale, the subject left in a vehicle eastbound in Ringgold Road. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate.
24-008024 – 1100 BLK Greenslake Road – Domestic – The caller advised that her grandfather and her great-grandfather were arguing. The parties agreed to be peaceful and separate for the evening.
24-008025 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Disorder – Officers responded to this location regarding multiple parties at one of the pavilions after being informed by staff they were not allowed to be there. Multiple subjects were issued trespass warnings.
24-008031 – 1600 BLK Springvale Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked at Springvale Park. The white Dodge caravan belonged to a homeless couple who told police they were resting in the shade. Both were cooperative with the police and negative for warrants.
24-008042 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Auto Burglary – Officers contacted the reporting party after he observed he phone to be missing from his vehicle. No suspect information was found at the scene.
24-008044-1000 BLK Altamaha Street-Disorder – The reporting party stated that her granddaughter’s boyfriend was staying there and wanted him to leave. After investigation the granddaughter was also on the lease and wanted her boyfriend to stay. Officers advised the reporting party that this is a civil matter.
Day Shift June 24
24-008058 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road 423– Traffic Stop, Foot Pursuit- ERPD observed a grey Chrysler 300 travelling at a high rate of speed in the 3800 block of Old Ringgold Road. The vehicle turned right onto Wimberly. Upon turning left onto Ringgold Road, it was observed the vehicle accelerated so that the tires lost traction with the roadway and left skid marks. A traffic stop was performed. The driver identified himself and stated he had a driver’s license from Illinois, but no identification on his person. Upon NCIC check, the name given was a real person but with a different DOB. Upon further investigation, his real identity was determined as the manager of the lot had a copy of his ID (the man was test driving the vehicle). When asked to step out of the vehicle, the suspect ran on foot. His driving privileges were found to be revoked. Warrants are being sought.
No Number – 2000 BLK Hamilton Place Blvd– Active Shooter- ERPD was asked to send officers to assist CPD and HCSO with an Active Shooter at the office complex. Three ERPD units responded and assisted in the incident.
24-008065 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft – Staff advised a male entered the store on Saturday around 1612 hours and stole $551.96 worth of merchandise. The suspect then left in a red Ford Edge, unknown tag. A warrant for Theft of Property will be sought pending identification of the suspect.
24-008050/24-008062 – 1300 BLK Greenslake Road – Assist EMS – Police assisted EMS on two separate occasions for a patient who was suffering from anxiety attacks and chest pain. In the first occurrence, the patient was transported but returned home shortly thereafter. In the second occurrence, the patient denied being transported to the hospital. The patient was warned about abusing the use of calling 911 since she did not have an emergency. Officers are aware of separate occurrences of the same patient on the weekend prior.
24-008066 – 400 BLK McBrien Road – Theft – Police were informed of two males entering the business and stealing approximately $300 worth of merchandise. The suspects were last seen heading east bound toward Spring Creek off South Terrace. No vehicle description was given.
Night Shift June 24
24-008085 – 1000 BLK Mchann Drive – Narcotics Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a party was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute (242.4 GM), Possession of Fentanyl with Intent to Distribute, Possession of MDMA With Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II – Oxycodone, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
24-008078 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Theft of Property – A commercial LPR captured the image of a stolen Oklahoma license plate on a motorcycle in the hospital parking lot. The vehicle left the area, but officers utilized the hospital’s security system to locate and identify the suspect. Police obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s home on Independence Lane and executed it with the assistance of the Chattanooga PD. The stolen license plate was recovered, but the 2017 Harley Davidson was not located. An arrest warrant for theft was issued.
24-008084- 6400 BLK Ringgold Road –Suspicious Activity / Criminal Trespass – Police responded to a report of a male smashing bicycles. The man was located and trespassed from the restaurant property, proximity restriction 24-000176.
24-008091- 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Narcotics Violation – Following a traffic stop, a man was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
24-008095 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Vehicle – Police observed a suspicious vehicle near the Camp Jordan canoe launch and conducted a consensual encounter with the occupants. Consent was provided to search the vehicle. Officers found used needles and a glass pipe with residue in the console. Both were issued misdemeanor citations in lieu of arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
