Day Shift June 30
23-008085- 6700 BLK US41- Embezzlement- Warrants were sought to arrest a former employee, for Embezzlement.
23-008071 – 1400 N. Smith St – Suspicious Person – Police responded after employees reported a homeless party was observed asleep under a stairwell in the building. Police spoke with the party who stated he had no place to go and needed a place to sleep. The party’s information was verified, and he was transported to a location in the Central district.
23-008094 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Person/Check the Well-being – Caller reported male was observed standing on the sidewalk talking to traffic and appeared to be experiencing issues walking. Police located the party and advised him to return to his camp in Georgia.
23-008068 – 1300 BLK John Ross Rd – Crash / Possible DUI – A vehicle drove off the road and crashed into a tree. Both the driver and passenger were transported with significant injuries. Charges are pending.
Night Shift June 30
23-008106 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police served two Forfeiture Capias Warrants (Possession for Resale and Drug Paraphernalia) on a male who was in custody at Silverdale.
23-00112 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police served an Alias Capias Warrant (Driving on cancelled, suspended, revoked) on a female who was in the custody of CPD.
23-008122 – 10 BLK Brockhaven Road – Suspicious person / Warrant Service – Police Responded to the area to attempt to locate a male who had attempted to get in the backdoor of the residence. Police contacted a male party matching the description on South Crest Road. It was confirmed he had an arrest warrant out of Hamilton County for Aggravated Criminal Trespass.
23-008100 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Disorder – Police responded to a verbal disorder between a homeowner and a male suspect he found in his backyard. The two individuals eventually argued over a lawn mower in the backyard of the home. When police arrived, they noticed a short blue straw fall out of the suspect’s pants. The suspect was taken into custody for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. During a search incident to arrest, the male suspect was found to have a glass pipe with burn residue, 0.6 grams of methamphetamine, and 6 tablets of oxycodone.
23-008125 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas Street – Stolen Vehicle Recovery / Narcotics Arrest – A male party was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a stolen Motorcycle, Methamphetamine for resale, and Marijuana.
23-008127 – S Germantown Road – DUI – Police stopped a Toyota Tacoma on S. Germantown Road for crossing into the wrong lane and making an illegal turn. Upon further investigation it was determined the driver was intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI.
23-008128 – 1400 BLK ST. Thomas Street – SIA / Arrest – Police were conducting a stolen vehicle investigation and a female identified herself with a false name. Police learned later of the actual name of the female. Police returned to the same address and placed the female in custody. Police conducted a search of her person and found an admitted fentanyl paraphernalia in her back pocket. The female is being charged with criminal impersonation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Day Shift July 1
23-008131 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Person/Assist Other Agency – A woman was observed displaying peculiar behavior on the parking lot. A check of identification revealed she had warrants out of Hamilton County. She was transported to Silverdale without incident.
Night Shift July 1
23-008158 – 3400 BLK Frawley Street – Domestic Assault – A female victim contacted police stating her adult daughter assaulted her. Police responded to the scene and found evidence of a simple assault; however, the female suspect fled the home prior to the arrival of law enforcement. An arrest warrant for Simple Assault (Domestic) is pending for the suspect.
23008179 – South Seminole Drive – DUI – Police stopped a 1999 Honda Civic on S. Seminole Drive after observing suspicious behavior of the driver at the gas station and for erratic driving. Upon further investigation it was determined the driver was intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.
23-008187 – South Moore Road @ Fike Drive – Traffic Stop / DUI Arrest – Police observed a vehicle weaving in and out of their lane of travel on Ringgold Road. Police conducted a traffic stop at this location. Police noticed several open containers in the vehicle. After a conversation with the male driver, he was placed into custody for DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail with no issues.
23-008184 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – SIA – Police got out with a male party on the parking lot. During the contact police discovered he was unlawfully in possession of a handgun and in possession of marijuana. He was charged accordingly.
Night Shift July 2
23-008220 – 3900 BLK South Mission Oaks Drive – Aggravated Criminal Trespassing – Police responded to the report of an unconscious party at the empty residence. A real estate agent was showing the property to prospective buyers when they stumbled upon a man lying in an empty bedroom floor. Police responded and found that the male was only sleeping. Upon further investigation, the male suspect was found to be in the house without the consent of the property owner. Police found that the property owner was a real estate brokerage firm, and a message was left with the company’s afterhours messaging service. The male suspect was released from the scene, but charges are pending based on the property owner’s input.
23-008225 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location a male was taken into custody for a Schedule II Drug violation, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Resisting stop, halt, frisk.
Day Shift July 3
23-008240- 3400 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a homeless person sleeping on the side of the building. Police spoke with the female and advised her to move along.
23-008250- 182 I-24 West- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised of a sailboat on the roadside. The boat was found sitting off the interstate. It was stickered.
23-008263- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder/Criminal Trespass Warning- The caller advised a homeless female was causing a disorder in the business. She was criminally trespassed from the property and left without incident.
Day Shift July
23-008300- 3636 Ringgold Road- Disorder- The caller advised a male was causing a disorder and refusing to leave the store. On scene the male had already left the property. Officers checked the area, but the male was not located.
23-008303- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- The caller advised two males were shoplifting ammo. On scene police attempted to traffic stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop. It was last seen traveling north on McBrien Road. This incident is under investigation.
23-008306- 6401 Ringgold Road- Property Damage/Public Intoxication Arrest- The caller advised a female on a bicycle scratched her vehicle. Police spoke with the caller. The female was identified arrested for public intoxication and transported to Silverdale.
Night Shift July 4
23-008316 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary In Progress-Field Interview – The business owner called about a person seen on camera trying to get in the walk-in freezer. The subject was standing in the shade of the building.
23-008322 – 1400 BLK St Thomas Street – Drug Overdose – Police responded after a female requested assistance from East Ridge Fire Department for a drug overdose in the parking lot. On scene, ERFD administered Narcan to the patient, who regained consciousness shortly after. Following the interaction, he was taken into custody for possession of Schedule II, drug paraphernalia, and public intoxication.
23-008324 – 900 BLK Altamaha Street – Crash-Hit and Run – Police responded to this location for a hit-and-run complaint. Police spoke with the owner of a Honda involved in the hit and run. He did not observe who hit his vehicle. His vehicle was parked in the house’s driveway at this location. A vehicle associated with a GA license plate could be involved if located.
