Day Shift July 29

24-009657 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Auto Theft – A party came to the police department to report his 2016 Toyota Tacoma stolen between 1500 on July 28, 2024 and 1030 hours on July 29, 2024. The vehicle has been entered into NCIC as stolen.

24-009666 – 1600 BLK Key West Avenue – Theft – The victim reported a bag of jewelry valued at about $3000, missing from her residence and suspects it stolen by another female, who resides at this address.

Night Shift July 29

24-009670 – 6100 BLK Welworth Avenue – Wires Down – Police responded to power lines on the roadway in the 6100 block of Welworth Avenue. Officers provided traffic control for approximately two hours while EPB reattached power lines and the ER Fire Department cleared the roadway of debris.

24-009680 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Back Up Fire – Police responded with ERFD to this address when it was reported the drive-thru was sparking and smoking. It was understood to be a short in the electrical box of the drive-thru sign.

24-009683—3600 BLK Bennett Rd—Public Intoxication – Police arrested a man after he flagged down a concerned citizen driving by. He was seen going through yards around the address. The party displayed clear signs of public intoxication and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail on the charge of public intoxication.
