Day Shift July 27
24-009568 – 1300 BLK Sewanee Drive– Warrant Service – While conducting routine patrol, police observed a man standing in the driveway at his ex-girlfriend’s house who he had assaulted yesterday. The officer had knowledge that the subject had a pending warrant for Domestic Assault and Vandalism. Police placed him under arrest and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-009556 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorderly Conduct Arrest – A party was arrested for Disorderly Conduct after refusing to leave the hospital property. He was adamant he would have to be taken to jail because he wasn’t leaving.
Night Shift July 27
24-009599 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – Police responded to the report of a male stumbling in the roadway on Ringgold Road. Police found him to be heavily intoxicated and was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.
24-009605 – 1100 BLK South Moore Road – DUI / Arrest – Police responded to this location at the request of a Rossville PD Officer after he found a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. The driver of the vehicle was reported as possibly intoxicated. ERPD Officers arrived on scene and determined this to be the case. The driver was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift July 28
24-009630 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Person Shot – Officers had learned of a shooting on Brainerd Road involving a red Chrysler 300. While an officer was working on a report in the parking lot of the police department a vehicle matching the description came into the parking lot rapidly, and the driver stated a female passenger had been shot. Officers immediately began life saving measures and administered first aid until EMS and Fire units arrived. She was transported by EMS.
24-009627 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Activity – Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle occupied by a male subject. Police located the man and a female. While an officer was investigating the couple, the male fled on foot. Police later learned his identity and found numerous active felony warrants through Hamilton and Catoosa Counties. He was located a short time later through the collaborative efforts of East Ridge officers and Catoosa County deputies. Warrants for criminal impersonation and evading are forthcoming from East Ridge.
24-009623 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrants Arrest / Drug Arrest – After a License Plate Reader (LPR) “hit” for a Wanted Person, a woman was taken into custody on five active East Ridge warrants. The warrants involved the theft of over $2,000 worth of sunglasses. A passenger in the vehicle also showed an active warrant through Hamilton County and was taken into custody. After an inventory search of her purse, several pieces of burnt foil and a burnt straw were located inside as well as a small amount of fentanyl.
Night Shift July 28
24-009637 – 1200 BLK Laurelwood Drive – Domestic Assault – Police responded to the report of two individuals arguing at this residence. Officers spoke with a man and found he had been arguing with his wife. During the argument, she had struck him on the face and left several visible marks. The woman was arrested for Domestic Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-009639 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Vehicle – A resident reported an unfamiliar vehicle, with one male occupant, had been in the parking lot for over 12 hours. Police spoke with the driver of the vehicle and found he was visiting a friend who lived in the apartment complex.
24-009645 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI / Arrest – Police observed a gold van traveling in a reckless manner on Ringgold Road and initiated a traffic stop. After an on-scene investigation, the driver was arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence and Driving on a Revoked Driver’s License.
