Day Shift July 26
24-009507 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft/Disorderly Conduct Arrest– A man was arrested after failing to pay for food bar items he selected and then became disorderly when confronted by employees. He displayed erratic behavior and failed to lower his voice when asked by police. After being taken into custody, he threatened the lives of officers and an employee. He would later spit on the arresting officer. He was transported to the Hamiton County Jail and charged with Theft Under $1,000, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, Assault (First Responder), and Retaliation for Past Action x4.
24-009504 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road, Stay Inn Express – Criminal Impersonation Arrest- Several adults and juveniles were encountered. One of the adults identified herself stating she does not and has never been issued a State ID. No person concerning the information provided could be located. She maintained this was her correct identity, stating she was from Alabama and still no matching person could be identified. She then stated the last name may be listed differently. She then gave another DOB, which did locate a juvenile. She even provided a correct middle name. Ultimately, she was identified as an adult. An outstanding warrant was found for her arrest. She was taken into custody for the warrant and additionally charged with Criminal Impersonation.
24-009513 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road, Parkridge Hospital – Warrant Service Evading Arrest – ERPD responded to arrest a man on several local and out of state warrants. Upon seeing ERPD, he fled and was not located. Warrant are being sought to arrest for Evading Arrest.
24-009494 – 1300 BLK Sewanee Drive Apartment – Delayed Assault – A woman called police after her boyfriend punched her in the shoulder, chased her out of the house into her vehicle, and threw a child’s toy at her windshield, shattering the glass. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival. Due to marks observed on the victim’s shoulder and a shattered windshield, a warrant for Domestic Assault and Vandalism will be sought.
24-009521 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Disorder – Police spoke with a man who was multiple times told not to be panhandling outside the store. He was informed he was being trespassed from Bass Pro and given his trespass warning.
24-009502 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Unknown Trouble – Police responded to this location after being flagged down. The parties stated their daughter had ran away and was in a room with an adult male, who may have warrants. Police contacted parties and identified three adults and one more juvenile male and two female juveniles attempting to hide in the restroom. One of the females was identified as the missing daughter. As she stepped out of the room she continued to walk away from police while yelling after being told to stop. She was grabbed by the arm to halt her movement and at that point she turned and struck an officer with a closed fist. She was taken to JDU and charged accordingly.
Night Shift July 26
24-009532 – 700 BLK Bacon Trail – Disorder / DUI Arrest – Police responded to a disorder involving a black Ford Taurus. Officers located the vehicle as it turned onto Bacon Trail and stopped the vehicle for a registration violation. Police found the disorder was verbal only. The driver of the vehicle showed several signs of intoxication and was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
24-009540—1300 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder / Arrest – Following a verbal disorder at this residence, a man fled on a bicycle. Police located him in the 6100 block of Ringgold Road where he was arrested for public intoxication. Officers also found that he had been criminally trespassed from the residence and he was charged accordingly.
24-009554 – 700 BLK Belvoir Ave – Traffic Stop / DUI Arrest – Police stopped a black Dodge Charger for failure to maintain lane. The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI. The three passengers in the vehicle were also found to be highly intoxicated and were provided several opportunities to coordinate a ride home. The passengers refused to comply with instructions and were arrested for Public Intoxication.
24-009555 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road — Assist Other Agency – Police were notified that a burglary suspect from Chattanooga was at the hotel. Officers checked the area, but the suspect was not located. He showed an active warrant out of Hamilton County for credit card fraud and may be in possession of a stolen Springfield .40 Caliber handgun.
