Day Shift July 25
24-009454 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Mentally Disturbed – Police were dispatched for a suspicious person standing at the door exhibiting strange behavior. Officers contacted the individual who advised he was waiting for the business to open so he could have breakfast.
24-009470 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on two Theft of Property-Conduct Involving Merchandise warrants that involved stealing lottery tickets.
Night Shift July 25
24-009489 — 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd — Delayed Assault – The reporting party spoke with police about an assault that he stated took place at a local bar and grill. Officers attempted to contact the business, but it had already closed for the night. Follow up will be conducted.
24-009490 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded for a 33-year-old male causing a disturbance by shouting in the breezeway of the hotel and waking guests. He was detained for questioning but released into medical custody. Warrants will be sought for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
No Number Assigned – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assist Other Agency – ERPD Officers responded after CPD requested assistance with the victim of a delayed stabbing.
24-009484 – 1300 BLK Boyd Street – Disorder – A woman called and stated that her child’s father had come to her residence and beat on the door. She stated that after she opened the door, he threw a pickle jar at her.
24-009488 – 1300 BLK Boyd St – Supplemental Report – A man called to tell police his side of the story of the disorder that had occurred earlier in the evening. He stated that the female half of the argument had thrown the pickle jar and a chair at his vehicle causing him to throw the pickle jar at the door. Police asked him to come to the police station so they could view the damages to his vehicle. While on scene at the Police Department he was arrested for an active warrant for vandalism and driving on revoked. He was transported to jail without further issues. Police are seeking warrants for the woman for vandalism.
24-009491-6500 BLK Ringgold Road-Disorder- Police responded to an alleged assault. Officers spoke with a woman who stated that her boyfriend had assaulted her two weeks ago in Catoosa County. Police noticed a black eye and bruises. East Ridge Police asked Catoosa County to respond and talk with her. She refused to cooperate with police stating she doesn’t wish to proceed with charges. East Ridge made Catoosa aware and sent her on her way.
