Day Shift July 21
23-009164- 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd- Theft- A man reported his wallet was stolen from the business earlier this afternoon and someone attempted to use his credit cards.
23-009150 – 5900 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication- Police responded to a Mental Health call in response to a female claiming to be in danger, wanting to locate people, things flying, and people everywhere. While conducting a background check it was found that she had multiple outstanding warrants out of East Ridge for her arrest. She was arrested on the scene for public intoxication and transported to Silverdale.
Night Shift July 21
23-009165 – 1700 BLK Keeble Street – Pedestrian Struck – Police were dispatched for the above call and arrived to determine it was not in East Ridge nor was it a pedestrian struck. A bicyclist jumped into the bed of a pickup truck, busted the rear window out and assaulted the driver with a knife. All activity occurred within Catoosa County, GA.
23-009174 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-other – A man was found passed out on the floor and arrested for Public Intoxication.
Day Shift July 22
23-009189 –700 BLK Claremont Circle– Harassment- A man reported he was told via a mutual acquaintance that a party was going to show up to his house with a gun. Police waited outside the residence for almost an hour, but the subject did not arrive. The complainant could not advise the reason for the suspect’s vitriol.
Night Shift July 22
23-005643 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Warrant Service – Three arrest warrants were served on a party at this location during a traffic stop. The warrants are for vandalism, domestic assault, and attempted aggravated burglary. He was booked accordingly once transported to Silverdale.
23-009193 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Theft in Progress – Police responded to the business after loss prevention observed a male attempting to steal a BB gun. On scene police spoke with four juveniles and recovered the merchandise. The juveniles were given a ride home by police. Police spoke with the mother of the juvenile suspect and advised her that police would be seeking an attachment for shoplifting at the request of the business.
23-009196 – 3600 BLK Old Ringgold Road – Burglary – Police responded to this residence after the homeowner observed her door to be open. While speaking with the homeowner on scene she advised her dog, a Boston Terrier, was missing along with her son’s gaming system. Report is on file.
23-009199 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Arrest – Police received a notification regarding a vehicle traveling southbound on Spring Creek Road who was wanted for domestic assault, attempted aggravated burglary, and vandalism. Police initiated a felony stop on the vehicle and were met with physical resistance from the male while attempting to detain him. He was taken into custody and transported to Silverdale where he was booked on his East Ridge warrants and charged with resisting arrest, possession of schedule II drugs for resell, possession of schedule IV drugs for resell, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
23-009205 – 3400 BLK Weaver Street – Disorder – An anonymous person reported a disorder at the residence between male and a female. Police arrived on scene and found a man outside the home attempting to contact the persons inside the structure. Police spoke with the man who stated his wife was inside the home. Police then knocked on the door and met with the homeowner. Police also spoke with the wife who stated she wished to remain at the residence. The resident requested that the man leave the area for the night, and he complied with the request.
23-009206 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Following a traffic stop on a vehicle with swapped tags a woman was taken into custody after being found to be in possession of 18.5 grams of meth. She was charged with possession of meth for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Day Shift July 23
23-009225- 5300 BLK Oakdale Avenue- Auto Theft- The caller advised sometime after 2300 hours yesterday that her red Kia Rio was taken by an unknown suspect.
Night Shift July 23
23-009245 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody for his outstanding warrant out of the Collegedale Police Department for driving on a suspended license. He was transported to Silverdale and booked accordingly.
23-009252 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest/DUI – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody for Improper Display, Driving under the influence, Open Container Law, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, and Implied Consent law. He was transported to Silverdale and booked accordingly.
23-009256 – 4000 BLK Sherlin Dr – Traffic Stop/DUI – Following a crash which occurred on 3557 Bennett Road, police made a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the scene. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence. The front seat passenger was arrested for public intoxication.
Day Shift July 24
No Incident Number – 2000 BLK Myrtle Avenue – Assist Animal Control – Assisted Animal Control to enforce city ordinance on exotic pets.
23-009279 – 5400 BLK Dupont Street – Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Police were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. The reporting party stated men wearing masks were seen last night exiting vehicle. The vehicle was located and confirmed as stolen from an address in East Ridge on July 23. The vehicle had a damaged ignition switch, bumper, and scratches on the front side and rear. It was towed from this location. A short time later officers contacted a juvenile seen walking from an area near the vehicle. He was found to be in possession of a ski type mask. He was escorted to his residence where police spoke with him and a parent.
Night Shift July 24
23-009292 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive – Disorder/Arrest – Police responded to this address regarding a man not leaving his mother’s house after been told to leave. Upon police arrival, police spoke to the mother who told police that he had damaged her Ring doorbell camera and wished for him to be trespassed. After the police told him to leave multiple times he still refused. The man was taken into custody for vandalism and criminal trespass.
23-009288 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served with an alias capias (poss. Of sch. II) warrant out of East Ridge while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
23-009284 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person / Arrest – Police observed a female walking in the middle of the road. Police observed what appeared to be a syringe in her pocket and upon her taking items from her pockets, she was found in possession of Fentanyl, Meth, and drug paraphernalia. She was also found to be reported missing with a CO. She was removed from NCIC.
23-009303 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Stolen Vehicle / Arrest – Police observed a Silver Buick with its running lights on behind the hotel and after running the tag through dispatch to was reported stolen out of Chattanooga. Police contacted the individuals in the room directly in front of the vehicle. Upon their opening the door police observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and sought a search warrant for the room. Inside was Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, mushrooms, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Also in the room were the keys to the stolen vehicle. The occupants were taken into custody.
