Day Shift July 23
24-009387, 24-009388 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifting – man was taken into custody in the parking lot after loss prevention alerted police to his presence. Associates had video footage of him shoplifting on this date and the day prior. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-009390 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – Police responded after a male with long braided dreads, wearing a blue jacket and black “Nirvana” band shirt and a female wearing a red tie-dyed shirt with white jacket stole approximately $130 worth of meat from the store. The subjects left in a silver Chevy HHR.
24-009400 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI/Arrest – A man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence, Driving on Revoked License and Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence after causing a disorder at a grocery store.
Night Shift July 23
24-009401 – 1500 BLK Tombras Ave – Warrant Service – A man was served with two arrest warrants, each for Theft Under $1000, at the East Ridge City Court. He was transported without incident to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-009411- 5700 BLK Roper Street – Deceptive Practice – The caller reported an account on the app “Discord” was attempting to scam him out of money. The account had explicit photos of the reporting party and the unidentified suspect was threatening to release the pictures if he didn’t pay money.
24-009412 – 4100 Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Gang Validation – A man was validated as a member of the Vice Lords following a traffic stop. The party was on Federal Probation out of Chicago, Illinois for weapon and narcotic charges. He remained compliant throughout the field interview.
24-009415 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Drug Overdose – Police responded to this location for a suspected Fentanyl overdose. Police found the victim unresponsive and not breathing, so officers began life saving measures. The patient regained consciousness and was transported by EMS for further treatment.
