Day Shift July 22
24-009356 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Trespass – A woman was issued a trespass warning after loss prevention associates observed her attempting to conceal merchandise on her person. She was advised if she returned to the store she could face charges for burglary.
24-009340 – I24 W 184 – Crash w/Entrapment – Chattanooga Police requested East Ridge Police assistance on a Crash w/Entrapment blocking all west bound lanes. Officers responded as traffic control until CPD was able to respond.
24-009351 – 1600 BLK Springvale Road – Criminal Trespass – A party was found camping in Springvale Park. She was told she could not stay on the property and advised to clean up her belongings by Friday.
24-009354 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A woman was served with an outstanding Alias Capias warrant (Simple Possession of Marijuana) at the Hamilton County Jail.
24-009359 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Suspicious Person – Officers were dispatched to the area after a caller advised a male subject was walking north on John Ross carrying a pitchfork. Police located the man carrying a pitchfork over his head. He explained he was on a quest to locate his stolen bicycle. His quest was put on hold when it was discovered he had an active East Ridge warrant and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift July 22
24-009375 – 3900 BLK Wiley Avenue – Residential Burglary – The victim reported an unknown suspect broke into her residence while she was out of town for the weekend. She provided a list of the items that were missing and did not know anyone who would burglarize her home. The rear porch door of the home appeared to have been broken off the hinges and the suspect gained entry through the back sliding door of the home.
24-009372 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for an arrest warrant through the City of East Ridge. The charge on the warrant was Driving on a Suspended License.
