The following information was provided by East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
July 18– Day Shift
1460 Mack Smith Road:
The caller advised that sometime between 6:00 am and 7:30 am someone entered his vehicle and took property. He said he is missing his wallet that contained his credit, debit cards, and a concealed carry license. He advised that his iPad, several identity documents, a lunch box, and black satchel-style work bag containing over $200 were among other items stolen from within the vehicle. There was no forced entry of the vehicle.
1450 Mack Smith Road:
A caller advised of a suspicious man looking at cars and in trash cans. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the man. He was looking for his stolen property. (See report above)
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police were dispatched on two (2) separate occasions regarding a distress alarm. Both times everything was determined to be okay.
6514 Ringgold Road:
Police were advised of a man that was said to be sleeping inside a vehicle and the caller advised the man was proving difficult to wake. Police spoke with the man who said he had just gotten off work after working all night and was extremely tired. He was encouraged to relocate to an empty parking lot, so he was not disturbed and could get the necessary rest before driving home.
6007 Ringgold Road:
A man located several items he had reported stolen earlier this week for his home in Ooltewah, TN. The items were located at GT Pawn. The items had been stolen by the man’s brother. Hamilton County had not completed their initial report of the incident or started an investigation. Management at GT Pawn agreed to hold the merchandise and work with the victim on a fair resolution.
6725 Ringgold Road:
An employee of Chattanooga Mercantile reported that Kayla Starnes had been disorderly in the business and he wished to have her criminally trespassed from the property. Starnes was located sitting under a bridge in the 6700 block of Ringgold Road. She was advised of the trespass notice.
4400 block of Vester Lane:
The caller advised of a man and woman arguing in the area. Upon arrival police spoke with the female subject. She advised that the argument was merely verbal in nature.
3629 Ringgold Road:
A caller advised of a man sleeping in his vehicle in the parking lot. Police spoke with the man, who advised that he was ill from fast food and needed to stop.

July 18 – Night Shift
4348 Ringgold Road:
A female subject was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Facility for criminal trespass after refusing to leave after staff and police had ordered her to leave the property.
6708 Ringgold Road:
An employee at the Circle K called police regarding a female subject that was on the property but had previously been trespassed. Carla Lewis was taken into custody for criminal trespass after it was confirmed she was trespassed from the property on June 23, 2019. Lewis was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
6514 Ringgold Road:
A female subject advised that she believed people were following her and trying to shoot her. She also advised that she was “coming down off meth.” She was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
1923 Close Road:
Police responded to this location due to barking dogs. Five (5) small dogs were observed in the backyard barking continuously and loudly. The house was vacant due to a recent fire. The responsible person was not able to be contacted. The reporting party advised he would call back during the day when the homeowners were present.
3200 Ringgold Road:
Ashley Foster was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 19 – Day Shift
6674 Ringgold Road:
Savannah Bryant was issued a criminal trespass warning for this location after creating a disorder in the hotel lobby of Roadway Inn and cursing the manager.
6700 Ringgold Road:
A witness at the Quality Inn Suites notified the front desk clerk of two (2) people entering vehicles in the parking lot. Upon arrival of police the subjects were gone, and the witness could not be located.
3201 Old Ringgold Road:
A woman walked into Kirkland’s Pest Control requesting to file a police report. Employees of the business then called police to their location. The woman attempted to report an assault that occurred somewhere in East Ridge approximately 4-5 years ago. She was found to be a mental health consumer. Police contacted her conservator, who requested that she be transported to the hospital for an evaluation. Her conservator also advised that the woman has done this before and that no assault had occurred.
3100 Ringgold Road:
A truck became stuck in the tunnel. The driver was issued a traffic citation.
5348 Rose Street:
Reginald Jorden was arrested on warrants through East Ridge for possession of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia after police were called to the residence for suspicious activity.
5306 Oakdale Avenue:
A reporting party called stating that a male and female were under his carport. On arrival, police located both subjects in the parking lot of Walgreens. They identified themselves and said that they are currently homeless and slept under the carport for shelter. Police advised them not to trespass on private property and sent them on their way after an information check with dispatch revealed they had no warrants.
1060 Wynnwood Road:
A woman said she received a call from a man claiming to be with the Social Security Administration and requesting money due to a potential warrant for her arrest. Mitchell said she felt that it was a scam and did not send any money.

July 19 – Night Shift
4331 Oakdale Avenue:
The resident reported that her Tennessee registration tag was stolen off of her 2011 silver Chevrolet Equinox.
617 Marlboro Avenue:
A large tree limb fell over Marlboro Avenue and came to rest on several power lines. EPB responded to the scene and the road was blocked off until service crews cleared the area.
625 Marlboro Avenue:
Police were dispatched to this residence on a well being check. Police were asked to check on a person who was said to be acting “weird.” The subject on scene appeared to be okay and advised he did not wish to harm himself.
601 Walnut Street:
Hailey Newsome was arrested on an active warrant out of East Ridge.
Donaldson Road/Ringgold Road:
Lashunda Brown was arrested for a Hamilton County warrant.
3900 Ringgold Road:
Amelia Moore was arrested for a Hamilton County warrant.
205 Eads Street:
A juvenile male was robbed at gunpoint of his iPhone and $20 and then struck in the face. The phone was recovered in the middle of Ringgold Road in the 6700 block.

July 20 – Day Shift
5715 Ringgold Road:
Christopher Tidwell was observed walking around while drunk and was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
6302 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to a rear door alarm at Arby’s. The business was checked, and everything was secure.
6721 Ringgold Road:
A disorder was reported. The suspect was gone prior to police arrival.
6869 Village Lake Circle:
Police were called due to an older man throwing objects at the geese near the lake. The subject was not located.

July 20 – Night Shift
720 South Germantown Circle:
The complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke out the window of her vehicle and stole her purse. The victim then found that someone had used her debit card at two (2) locations in Chattanooga following the theft. The victim contacted the Chattanooga Police Department and filed a separate report for misuse of the debit card.
809 South Germantown Road:
The complainant reported that her iPhone 10 was lost at Kohls near Hamilton Place Mall. Using a tracking application, the woman found that her phone was possibly located at the residence located at 809 South Germantown Road. Police went to the location and found that the phone had been picked up by an 11-year old juvenile at Kohls. The phone was returned to the owner.
John Ross Road / Sunny Dell Lane:
Karen Liles was arrested on a Catoosa County warrant after she was found walking down John Ross Road. Prior to the arrest, a resident on Altamira Drive complained that Liles was beating on her door and requesting a ride home at 3:30 am.
6514 Ringgold Road:
Police responded to the Mapco after a skinny male with dreads ran out of the store with three (3) packs of beer and failed to purchase the items. A witness observed the male enter a gold 4-door sedan and leave traveling east on Ringgold Road.
6519 Ringgold Road:
Kelly Sexton and Barbra Lain were arrested for Hamilton County warrants after police were called to a disorder at the Super 8 Motel.
5313 Marion Avenue:
Jeremy Yates was issued a criminal trespass warning at the request of the homeowner.
941 Spring Creek Road:
A 2014 Nissan Juke that had been stolen in Chattanooga on July 20th was recovered at Parkridge East Hospital and returned to the owner.
900 McBrien Road:
Jose Lopez was arrested for driving under the influence.
915 South Seminole Drive:
Police were dispatched regarding an unconscious person. Police encountered a male subject that was sleeping on the picnic table at the apartment complex. He was escorted to his cousin’s apartment.
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police were dispatched because a nurse found what she thought was narcotics. Three (3) syringes were found and the ER staff disposed of the syringes.
2100 Bennett Road:
Police were dispatched regarding a disorder between a male and a female. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone.
3900 Ringgold Road:
Police got out with three (3) male juveniles walking in the 3900 block of Ringgold Road. The parents of the juveniles were contacted and one of the mothers of the children responded and picked up the juveniles.

July 21 – Day Shift
516 Notre Dame Avenue:
A resident arrived home after nearly a month-long vacation to find someone had entered his home through a bathroom window and had stolen his black witch’s cauldron containing approximately $300-$400 of loose change.
3320 Ringgold Road:
The owner of Fabric Care Laundry discovered damage to the front business door and door frame. Security surveillance footage captured video of a driver of a black 1997 Ford F-150 running over the curb stop and striking the building with the bumper. The driver of the truck then drove away.
1208 Laurelwood Drive:
The complainant reported an attempted scam. She advised that an unknown male subject attempted to hire her to perform at his wedding. She said the subject was going to send her a check for too much money and requested that she send a personal check to him for the difference.
220 Eads Street:
Police responded to a burglar alarm at this vacant residence. The home appeared to be secure.
4226 Bennett Road:
The resident called to report a burglary of his garage, which occurred sometime within the last three (3) days. A Skil Saw and bench grinder were stolen.

July 21 – Night Shift
6650 Ringgold Road:
Police were dispatched to this location regarding two (2) juveniles swimming in the pool. The juveniles were not staying at the hotel and they were advised to move along.
Maryland Drive / South Moore Road:
Police were dispatched to the area regarding an unknown 911 call. Nothing was located.
941 Spring Creek Road:
Police were dispatched to an alarm call. The responsible arrived on scene and police returned to service.
6600 Ringgold Road:
Josa Casa Hernandez was arrested for DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4226 Bennett Road:
Police spoke with the resident who stated that on this day he reported a burglary of his garage with items missing. The resident located several items from the garage hidden by a tarp under a tree in his front yard. The items were a bench grinder, reciprocating saw, disc grinder and a Skil saw. The resident identified the tools as his tools that were missing from the garage.
4214 Ringgold Road:
Tracy Mitchell was arrested on an East Ridge warrant while Chattanooga Police transported the male to the Hamilton County Jail.
