Day Shift July 19
24-009211 700 BLK South Lovell Avenue- Theft- The caller advised an unknown suspect took her trailer. She advised between 7/18/2024 at 1900 hours and 7/19/2024 around 0700 hours someone went on her property and took her trailer. The trailer was described as a 4×5 foot black trailer that is valued at $750. There is no further information on suspects currently.
24-009217- 6700 BLK of Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a suspicious female crossing the street in an odd way. A second caller advised the female appeared to be attempting to access businesses in the area. Officers checked the area, but the female was not located.
Night Shift July 19
24-009247—5000 Kenton Drive- Shots Fired- Police responded to this location regarding a shots fired complaint. Residents in the area stated they heard different sounds possibly a car collision rather than shots fired. Police did not find any signs of shots fired or collisions.
24-009236 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – Police responded after employers called about a suspicious female walking barefoot behind the store sweeping rocks and pulling at her clothing. The woman had a warrant out of Georgia for auto theft that was not extraditable. She was advised that she was trespassed at the property owner’s request.
24-009250 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Nissan Rogue for driving without headlights after dark. The driver was taken into custody for active warrants out of Hamilton County Sessions Court (Alias Capias for the original charge of Driving on Suspended, Revoked, or Cancelled License).
24-009251 – 6500 Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop- Police arrested a man for Driving on Revoked for DUI after observing him pull into the middle of the intersection of Ringgold Road and Mack Smith Road while the light was red.
24-009243 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Narcotics Violation – Police responded to Camp Jordan Parkway to investigate a narcotics violation. A patient came in requesting treatment for drug addiction. The female patient was also found in possession drug paraphernalia. The paraphernalia was seized and turned into Property & Evidence to be destroyed.
24-009240 – 2100 BLK Wren Road – Theft – Police responded to Wren Road to investigate a theft. The homeowner stated after arriving home from work, he noticed his BBQ grill and his washing machine missing from the driveway of his property. He said his roommate gave the items to an unknown person who was picking up scrap items across the street. The homeowner and roommate agreed she would compensate him for the loss of the property.
24-009248 – 1100 BLK Chippewah Drive – Warrant Service – Police conducted a knock and talk at this location. One of the residents was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Walker county for Probation Violation for Possession of Methamphetamine.
