The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along report” provided by the administration.
July 16 – Day Shift
5630 Ringgold Road (Fine’s Body Shop)- Auto Theft/Burglary-
The caller advised sometime during the nighttime hours a 2017 Nissan Altima (0C17M0 TN) was stolen from the lot. Upon arrival police were advised the business had also been burglarized. The surveillance video shows a male lurking around the building around 0345 hours. It then showed the male running from the building and enter the vehicle, then drive off traveling east on Ringgold Road with no headlights. The vehicle is wrecked and is missing its front end. CID was notified and the vehicle was entered in NCIC.

CSU served a search warrant at this address.
3839 Ringgold Road (Kingwood Auto Sales)- Attempt Burglary-
Upon arrival, police spoke with an employee of the business who advised as he entered the business, he noticed that the front grate of the air conditioning unit was on the ground. Once he walked out to see if there was any damage, he noticed that the siding/bracing of the unit was pulled off and it appeared that someone was attempting to remove the unit. He also observed a broken window leading into the restroom. Beside the window, a red brick was laying on the ground. He also observed that the locking latch was pulled from the restroom door. He stated that he believed someone was attempting to gain entry through the restroom, however there is no way to get into the business from the restroom. Officers on scene determined that nothing was left to be processed. There are no cameras in the area, and no suspect information.
6511 Slater Road (East Town Antiques)- Theft-
The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect stole a mint green Schwinn bicycle that was chained in front of the business. There is no video surveillance of the area.
Warrant Service-
Jacob Fredrick was served two East Ridge warrants after turning himself in at the station. He was transported to 601.
182/183 I-24 East- AOA/Brush Fire-
Police responded with Fire regarding a brush fire alongside the interstate. Upon arrival Fire handled the incident and extinguished the blaze.

July 16 –Night Shift
5313 Stateline Rd (Shooting 20-009197):
Police responded to reports of multiple parties shot at this location. Officers arrived and found two male subjects with multiple gunshot wounds in the residence. Police rendered aid until EMS and Fire Personnel arrived. Both subjects were rushed to Erlanger hospital. A short time later police were informed a third male had been shot and had driven from the scene to an address in Chattanooga. He was also taken to Erlanger Hospital. CID and patrol officers spent hours interviewing witnesses and suspects throughout the city.
4307 Fountain Avenue (Domestic Assault 20-009198):
A man stated he and his intoxicated wife, Elizbeth Clarke, were involved in an argument that escalated when she slapped him, with an open hand, several times. The victim recorded the incident on his cell phone camera and displayed it for officers to review. After review. Officers determined that Mrs. Clarke was the primary aggressor and took her into custody then transported her to the Hamilton County Jail for Domestic Assault
3980 Ringgold Rd (Suspicious Persons/Arrest):
While conducting a business check police observed two parties walking around a closed business, CVS. James Webb was found to have active warrants through Sequatchie County. Marcus McCamey was found to have active warrants through Hamilton County. Both males were transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
950 Spring Creek (Vehicle Recovery 18-007683):
Police were notified that Murray County Georgia Deputies recovered a stolen motorcycle that was originally reported stolen in East Ridge. The owner was notified. The vehicle was removed from the National Crime Information Center.
3600 Ringgold Rd (Juvenile 20-009215):
Observed 2 juvenile males, 13 and 14 years old, skateboarding in the 3600 block of Ringgold Rd at 0240 hours. Juveniles were relocated to their home and turned over to a parent at 815 Summitt Ave.

July 17 – Day Shift
601 Walnut Street (warrant service):
Charlton Duane Kyle Jr. was arrested at the Hamilton County Jail on an East Ridge warrant.
Eads Street (juvenile sexual assault):
A mother discovered video on her child’s cell phone of another child forcing her daughter to perform oral sex on a juvenile male. The video was recorded by the victim’s juvenile sister. The juvenile suspect is the son of the victim’s mother’s female partner. A report was filed, CPS was contacted, and the juvenile suspect is now staying with a relative.
1505 Waterhouse Street (property damage):
An EMS crew contacted police believing someone had broken their station’s garage door in an attempted burglary. Once a repair crew arrived it was determined the door had suffered a set of broken springs and was not a result of an attempted burglary.
1417 St. Thomas Street (criminal trespass warning):
Jhamonne Woods and Hailee Motley were issued criminal trespass warnings after failing to leave the Motel 6 property when asked by the employees after being observed bothering customers. Woods’ explanation for their continued presence on the property was that he did not know he had to leave. Both parties left the property without incident.

July 17 – Night Shift
6650 Ringgold Rd (Theft 20-009265):
Police responded to the theft of a wallet at the La Quinta Inn. A patron of the motel stated she believes her wallet was stolen during a mix-up over room assignments. Report on file.
1500 Mack Smith (Traffic Stop/AOA Narcotics Arrest):
Police initiated a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Mack Smith for a registration violation. The vehicle stopped just inside Catoosa County GA. During the course of the stop/investigation it was discovered the passenger Tara Ellis was in possession of approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine. She was taken into custody by the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office.
McBrien Rd @ Stateline Rd (AOA Warrant Arrest 90-009278):
Officers initiated a traffic stop on McBrien Rd in East Ridge and the vehicle continued onto Paige Rd stopping in the parking lot of the Sunrise Mkt. The passenger in the vehicle, Brandon Ferrel, was found to have numerous warrants through Georgia. Catoosa County responded and took him into custody.
2173 Dugan St (Disorder 20-009281):
Police were sent to this address for a civil matter. Once on scene police were able to solve the civil matter with the reporting party. Adana J Shropshire arrived on scene causing a disorder and was continuously asked to calm herself, but Ms. Shropshire ignored officers and continued to be disorderly. She was arrested for disorderly conduct.
5319 Oakdale Ave (Noise Complaint 20-009282):
Complaint of loud music coming from 5319 Oakdale Ave. Officers did hear the music and attempted to make contact with the residents. The parties would not answer the door but the music stopped.
1417 St Thomas St (Disorder 20-009284):
Police responded to a possible disorder between two females. Officers arrived on scene and observed a 17 yr old female juvenile being disorderly and causing a scene. Multiple attempts were made by officers to calm the juvenile. She was taken into custody and transported to JDU for disorderly conduct.
1417 Mack Smith Rd (Arrest 20-009285):
Contact was made with a black Mercedes parked behind the East Ridge Retirement Center. The vehicle was occupied by a male and female in the back seat. Officers noted the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A vehicle search was conducted resulting in officers locating marijuana and a handgun. Kima Evans was charged with simple possession and possession of a firearm while under the influence.
