Day Shift June 28
24-008234- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting/Criminal Trespass Warning- Officers were given a description of a male wearing gray cargo shorts, a gray cap, and a gray shirt concealing several items in his shorts. Officers contacted the suspect and escorted him out of the business. He was detained and all the merchandise was recovered. The suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation and trespassed from the business.
24-008234- 800 BLK State Line Road- Missing Person- The caller wished to report her son missing. On further investigation he was located at the Sequatchie County Jail.
Night Shift June 28
24-008260 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – The reporting party stated an unknown individual attempted to break into their hotel room through the adjoining room door. Police contacted the neighboring room and found the female occupant was intoxicated. The intoxicated person stated she was confused and thought the door was a closet. The female further stated she was only looking for an extra pillow.
24-008246 1000 BLK S Seminole Drive — Warrant Service – Police were called to this location for a verbal disorder. Following a short investigation, a man was taken into custody for a Probation Capias for DUI and was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-008256- 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A party was served with a Forfeiture Capias at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge for the capias was Driving on a Revoked License.
24-008257 — 4200 BLK Bennett Rd — Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a male subject was taken into custody for Possession of Methamphetamine, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The suspect was transported to jail without incident.
24-008258 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road — Warrant service – Police served a man with a Petition to Revoke capias at the Hamilton County Jail. Hus original charge was Possession of Methamphetamine.
24-008267 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle — Intoxicated Person – While investigating an abandoned vehicle, Police observed a man walking toward the entrance of the apartment complex. He showed obvious signs of intoxication and was not a resident at the location. He was arrested for Public Intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift June 29
24-008275- 10 BLK Ridgeside Road- Vehicle Burglary- The caller stated his unlocked vehicle was entered at 0330 this morning and a security camera in the vehicle was stolen. He stated he routinely leaves his vehicle(s) unlocked so the vehicles are not damaged in situations such as this, but generally has no items worth stealing inside.
24-008278- 1500 BLK McBrien Road- Wellbeing Check- The caller requested police check on a male crawling on the property. Officers spoke with the male. He advised he was pulling weeds.
24-008287- 10 BLK North Lynncrest Drive- Burglary of Auto- The caller reported an unknown suspect entered his two unlocked vehicles sometime overnight. He stated there was no damage and only a small amount of cash was taken from one. He stated he did not want a report he was just advising the police it had occurred.
Night Shift June 29
24-008294 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Assault – Police responded to the report of an assault at the Camp Jordan softball fields and spoke with several individuals at the location. Following the investigation, a woman was arrested and charged with simple assault.
24-008312 – 700 BLK S. Germantown Road – Assist EMS / Baby Delivery – ERPD assisted in the delivery and initial care of a newborn baby boy inside the residence. The parents and infant were transported by EMS to the hospital without further complications.
24-008315 – 1000 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency – During a traffic stop, a party was taken into custody for a felony arrest warrant out Chattooga County, GA.
24-008318 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – A man was taken into custody after police observed him staggering in the parking lot with the strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his person. He was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-008319 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – Another man was taken into custody after he was found to intoxicated on alcoholic beverages in the store. He was also arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-008320 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – Yet another man was taken into custody after he was found sitting in the passenger seat of a driverless vehicle in the parking lot. He was highly intoxicated and could not provide a local address or find a ride home. He, too was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift June 30
24-008321- 1100 BLK South Seminole Drive- Evading Arrest- Police attempted a traffic stop on a bicyclist in the 1100 block of South Seminole Drive for operating a bicycle with no illumination device. The operator provided his identification. Moments later he fled on the bicycle north and onto Ringgold Road west and entered the east bound Bachman Tunnel, into oncoming traffic, endangering motorists in the tunnel. The man was found to have outstanding Hamilton County Warrants from Sessions Court (re: 1943407). Warrants were sought for numerous charges.
24-008328- 3300 BLK Ringgold Road- Public Intox/Arrest- Police responded to the store on report of an intoxicated person attempting to purchase beer and knocking over merchandise. Upon arrival, a male was observed in the parking lot staggering and barely able to stand. He had very slurred speech and was unable to follow the simplest of commands. The party was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.
Night Shift June 30
24-008344 – 600 BLK S Germantown Road – Stolen Vehicle / LPR Hit – Police searched the Germantown Road area after the same vehicle triggered multiple LPR hits for two days in a row. A gray 2021 Kia Rio displaying was confirmed stolen but was not located. Police checked the area multiple times, but the vehicle was not found.
24-008349 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Narcotics Violation/Arrest – Police responded to a person sleeping in a white Ford Taurus at the gas station. Upon arrival, police found the vehicle unoccupied with the driver walking back to it. The driver was identified and placed into custody for Possession of Fentanyl for Resale and Possession of Xanax for Resale.
24-008357 – 700 BLK S. Germantown Road – Warrant Service – Police observed a suspicious person outside an empty building and identified him. The officer found that he had a warrant for Violation of the Sex Offender Registry. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-008359 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop, a man was taken into custody for arrest warrants out of Sessions Court.
24-008360 – 1400 BLK Merrill Street – Warrant Service – Hamilton County Deputies requested assistance in locating a person of interest in a harassment case with a Failure to Appear arrest warrant. He was located at a friend’s home in East Ridge and taken into custody without incident.
Day Shift July 1
24-003110- 4214 Ringgold Rd- Warrant Service- A man was arrested on an outstanding East Ridge warrant for Theft of Property Conduct Involving Merchandise while at Hamilton County Jail.
24-008373 – 5306 Connell ST – Theft- A party reported that his neon green bicycle had been taken over night. There are no suspects at this time.
Night Shift July 1
24-008401 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in a resident’s driveway. The driver told police he was “having a serious discussion with his lady” and decided to pull into the driveway. His driver’s license was suspended indefinitely for no insurance, and he was required to get a licensed driver to pick up his car.
24-008406 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Broken Down Auto – Police assisted a motorist stuck in the roadway with a dead battery. Police assisted with a jump box.
