Day Shift July 18
23-008999- 500 BLK Pine Top Court- Vandalism- The caller reported that a known suspect vandalized a Dodge Challenger by puncturing the left front tire. He did not realize air was escaping the tire until he reached the school parking lot at his destination. The complainant provided police security camera footage of the incident and a screen shot of a text message where the suspect admitted tampering with the vehicle. Warrants are pending for vandalism.
23-009000- 6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Wellbeing Check- The caller advised a male in just his boxers was yelling at traffic. On scene police checked the area but the male had already left the area.
23-009003- 3400 BLK Maple Creek Lane- Found Property- Upon arriving at the scene, a red wallet containing various items was handed over to the police. The wallet belongs to a woman with an ID from Floyd County Jail and contained a social security card belonging to a third party. The property was entered into East Ridge Property and Evidence for safekeeping.
23-009004- 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road- Disorder- The caller advised her neighbor was yelling at her. She advised he was upset due to her putting up a fence. On scene police spoke with the caller and attempted to speak with her neighbor but he refused to answer the door.
Night Shift July 18
23-008890 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway Ste. 121 – Supplemental – Police were dispatched regarding a video of a theft that had taken place on 7/15/23 (two parties had entered the back door). Police were able to identify the suspect. Warrants are being sought.
23-009027- 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police served an arrest warrant on a woman for Forfeiture capias (Possession of Schedule I) at the Jail.
