The following information was compiled from East Ridge Police Department “pass along” reports.
July 17 Day Shift
3657 Ringgold Road:
The complainant called to report he had lost his money in a room at the Cascades Motel.
4214 Ringgold Road:
A woman’s wallet was turned over to police by a citizen. The citizen stated the wallet was found in the 4100 block of Ringgold Road. Attempts were made to contact the owner, Taylor Hadley, but those attempts were unsuccessful.
1517 Tombras Avenue:
Sirena Bailey was taken into custody for an East Ridge warrant and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
4214 Ringgold Road:
Police spoke with a man who believed that he knew of a child pornography offense that had occurred. He advised that he had been in the home of a friend approximately three (3) weeks ago and asked for permission to use his friend’s computer. He said that he observed numerous images of child pornography on the computer. He said that his friend also had images of narcotic usage on the computer.
4282 Spriggs Street:
The complainant has a tenant at this address he is attempting to evict. He advised the tenant had been stealing water, even though the meter had been shut off. Walter was advised that Tennessee American Water would need to report the theft of the water.
217 Edwina Court:
A subject was transported by EMS to the hospital after making suicidal comments and cutting himself.
915 South Seminole Drive:
An anonymous caller advised of a van in the parking lot that didn’t appear to belong. The van left the area upon police arrival.
915 South Seminole Drive:
A caller advised that her ex-boyfriend threatened to shoot her. Upon arrival officers observed the suspect’s vehicle leaving the property. Officers attempted a traffic stop but the suspect, TJ Lewis, fled.
916 Donaldson Road:
The complainant reported receiving a scam phone call from someone claiming to be with the IRS. He was provided with the IC3.gov website to report the suspicious activity.
3812 Altamira Drive:
Police contacted a subject who was very agitated. He suffers from mental illness and was having a very angry episode. Police encountered other people at the location that had been assaulted. The subject was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital for treatment.

Night Shift
1617 Glowmont Drive:
The complainant called police regarding her juvenile child getting into an altercation with another child. Police spoke with all involved subjects and then went their separate ways.
6514 Ringgold Road:
An employee at the Mapco called police due to a man and woman attempting to use multiple credit cards to pay for their items. The employee stated that all of the credit cards used had different names on them. It is unclear if any of the cards were stolen or not. The subjects were described as a white male and a white female in their 20’s. The female was said to have been wearing a pink shirt. Both subjects left in a white Ford F-150 truck with no tag.
Ridgeside Road/Shephard Avenue:
Police observed a silver Chevrolet Impala sitting on the side of the road occupied with four (4) people. Police attempted to contact the subjects in the car, but they drove off. Due to there being no visible registration on the car, police activated emergency lights on the patrol car to conduct a traffic stop. The driver of the car fled from police at a high rate of speed and turned onto Shallowford Road toward Tunnel boulevard. Police deactivated the emergency lights and stopped following the car.
1040 John Ross Road:
An alarm was activated at East Ridge Elementary School. Upon checking the area and open door was found to be unsecure. A check of the interior of the building revealed nothing out of the ordinary.
915 South Seminole Drive:
Police were conducting a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Ringgold Road when fireworks were heard coming from 915 South Seminole Drive. Moments later, police received a shots fired call at the same location. Police checked the area, but nothing was located.
