Day Shift July 13
24-008940 – 3600 BLK Wimberly Lane – Warrant Service – Officers executed an arrest warrant for theft of property. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-008956 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Stolen Vehicle – Police observed a vehicle, based on an LPR hit, which had been reported as stolen two days prior. A high-risk stop was conducted on Ringgold Road. The driver was the registered owner and stated he had reported the vehicle as stolen, but it had merely been repossessed. He stated he failed to report he had recovered the vehicle. The vehicle was removed from NCIC.
Night Shift July 13
24-008964 – 4100 BLK East Ridge Avenue – Disorder – The reporting party advised there were several elementary aged children playing in the road. On scene, police observed several high-school age children sitting on the roadside talking. With police on scene, the mother of the children showed up and ensured there were no issues.
24-008969 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane– Disorder – Police responded to a verbal disorder at this address. The reporting party stated her neighbor called her a bad name during an argument, but no threats were made. Police asked everyone to return to their respective residences for the evening.
24-008978 – 4500 BLK Bennett Road – Domestic Assault – A woman was arrested after police found she open-hand slapped her roommate.
24-008992 – I-24 Westbound – Traffic Stop / Arrest – During a routine traffic stop, police found that a man had a verified arrest warrant out of East Ridge. During a search incident to arrest, police located two small bags of suspected methamphetamine and a pressed piece of foil containing suspected fentanyl. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Fentanyl.
Day Shift July 14
24-008985 – 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Disorder – Hotel staff reported a customer was upset and causing a disorder. Police contacted the subject in the parking lot who stated she was upset due to a recent death in the family. She was encouraged to call someone to pick her up.
24-008993 – 20 BLK Sheridan Road – Backup Fire – Police were dispatched to an unknown trouble at this address after a woman called 911, yelled into the phone, and hung up. She told officers her candle caught her curtain on fire, but she was able to put the fire out. East Ridge Fire was notified, and a brief investigation was conducted.
24-008994 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Arrest – A CON patient became combative with hospital staff during her treatment. She tried multiple times to escape and began screaming and yelling causing disruption to the emergency room. The party was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-008986- 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive- Arrest- Following a crash, the driver was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Night Shift July 14
24-009019 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police observed a vehicle traveling with an expired tag and initiated a traffic stop. Police identified the driver and suspected he was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested, but due to a possible medical issue he was transported to a local hospital. Upon medical clearance, police transported the party to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
24-009023 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road– Noise Complaint – Police received two separate noise complaints, each stating there was loud music and yelling in the apartment. During both complaints, officers did not observe any obscenely loud noise outside the building or within the building’s hallway. Police then spoke with the reporting party in his apartment and found the interior walls lacked sufficient soundproofing. Officers spoke with the occupants and advised the reporting party to contact the property manager.
24-009024 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Traffic / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a woman was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, driving on a Revoked License, and Altering a Registration Plate. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
