Day Shift July 10
24-008803- 5300 BLK Clemons Road- Theft- Police spoke to the complainant who stated on 7/9/2024, while she was at the church, her wallet was taken from her purse. The wallet is described as a shiny brown fake leather containing several cards and some cash. No suspect information is available currently.
24-008802- 4300 BLK Bennett Road- Suspected Theft- The caller advised he was made aware of three HCDE laptops for sale on Facebook. It is currently unknown which school the laptops belong too, but the suspect is a possible former student of ERHS. The caller was able to provide the suspect name from her Facebook page.
Night Shift July 10
24-008834 – 700 BLK S Germantown Road – Traffic Stop – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a window tint violation. Officers contacted the driver and passenger. After speaking with both parties, the male passenger fled on foot at which time officers conducted a foot pursuit. He was taken into custody after a short struggle. The man was found to have nine warrants out of Hamilton County. He was also charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of schedule II violations, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest, and evading arrest.
24-008821 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of general sessions.
24-008823 – 5000 BLK Delaware Drive – Backup Other Agency – ERPD Officers responded to this address at the request of CPD to attempt to contact a suspect involved in a hit and run crash in Chattanooga. Officers contacted a male subject at the address but were unable to locate the female suspect.
24-008826 – 1300 BLK San His Drive – Suspicious Person – Police were dispatched to check the area after a male wearing a white bandage on his arm walked onto the porch of a residence. The homeowner did not know the person and reported it as suspicious. Police searched the area, but the party was gone.
24-008840 – 3400 BLK Ringold Road – Citizen Assist – A party on foot flagged down police because their car broke down near the interstate and they could no longer walk on their prosthetic foot. Police provided a courtesy ride to 28th and Dodds Ave. No incident.
Day Shift July 11
24-008847- 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Lost Property- While on patrol police were flagged down by a man who wanted to make a report for his wallet being stolen. He stated he had been living in a shed with a couple on Claremont Avenue. He further advised he left the shed after getting into a dispute with them. He last remembered having his wallet in the shed around 07/08/2024. The couple told him they did not have it.
24-008848- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Found Narcotics- The caller advised the business repossessed a gray Ford Edge the previous night. On inspection several containers filled with narcotics were located. The vehicle is registered to an address in Georgia. The narcotics were entered in property.
Night Shift July 11
24-008869 – 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street – Theft – The resident stated a juvenile had stolen a virtual reality headset. While police spoke with her, she could not give a straight story. She also could not provide any suspect information. She also could not provide any information on the headset.
24-008871 – 5000 Delaware – Arrest on Outstanding Warrants – A party was taken into custody on three outstanding warrants out of Chattanooga from and hit and run the previous day.
24-008872 – 6900 BLK Village Lake Circle – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to a resident concerned that someone had broken into her home. The resident stated that her clocks had been reset and her garage door was plugged into a different outlet than she remembered. Police did not observe evidence of an intruder.
24-008881 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Police were dispatched to investigate a white minivan driving in reverse on Ringgold Road. The driver had valid warrants from Sessions Court. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail. His van keys were left with his passenger at his request.
24-008882 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Disorder w/Weapon – Police respond to a disorder between a male and female w/an infant child involved. The male and female, parents of the infant child, did not like the other parent being with someone else. It was verbal only. An incident report is on file.
24-008886 – 4200 BLK Dupont Street – Assault – A caller advised she was at the dog park and a male subject had hit her. Police arrived on scene and spoke with all parties but did not find any signs of assault. All parties on scene were advised to leave the park and go their separate ways.
24-008888-600 BLK S. Lovell Avenue – Assault in Progress – The resident advised her ex had come into the house, assaulted her, and that she was not supposed to be there. Officers arrived on scene and found that both parties were highly intoxicated. Police determined it was a verbal domestic dispute and no assault had taken place. The parties were separated for the night.
