Day Shift July 9
24-008768 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Assault/Road Rage – A woman was issued a citation in lieu of arrest after she threw a roll of pennies from her vehicle into another party’s vehicle, following a road rage incident between the parties.
24-008753 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – Staff requested police check on a party sleeping in a vehicle in their parking lot. Officers contacted the occupant who stated she was exhausted after working a long shift and was falling asleep while driving. She stopped to take a nap before continuing home. Unfortunately, she was found to have an active warrant through Catoosa County. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail to await extradition.
24-008769 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Property – An individual turned in a U.S. Passport after finding it on the ground in an apartment complex.
24-008772 – 3600 BLK Wimberly Drive – Arrest – While investigating a disorder it was found one of the residents had active warrants through Catoosa County. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail to await extradition.
24-008757 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – A concerned citizen reported a male party wearing a black t-shirt was on the outside of the bridge railing over I-75. They were concerned he would possibly jump off into traffic. Police located the party, a known mental health consumer, walking eastbound on the side of Ringgold Rd at Camp Jordan Parkway. When asked if he was wanting to jump off the bridge, he replied no and continued on his way.
24-008767 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane– Unconscious Person – Police responded to this apartment after the caller reported a party was unresponsive and not breathing. An officer rendered first aid until ERFD and HCEMS arrived. A short time after being administered Narcan, the party regained consciousness despite a witness advising responders he had not used any narcotics. The party was then transported to the hospital, where he admitted to taking an unknown substance.
Night Shift July 9
24-008782 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place – Pedestrian Struck/Arrest – The hospital staff reported a patient was struck by a vehicle at this location. Police investigated the incident and determined that a man and woman were in a verbal disorder outside their apartment. The man started to leave in his SUV and the woman attempted to get in the vehicle with him. The suspect accelerated the vehicle dragging the victim through the parking lot and causing serious injury. He was charged with Aggravated Assault (Domestic), Reckless Endangerment, and Driving Without a License.
24-008789 – 10 BLK Franklin Place – Verbal Disorder – Police responded to this location after the reporting party stated there was an argument over baby pictures. The reporting party stated she would leave for the night and return the next day. She also stated she would request police support with a disorder prevention on July 10, 2024.
