Day Shift January 6, 2023

23-000254- 5301 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a female was shoplifting from the business. On scene officers encountered Shammarie Elliot. She was issued a citation and a criminal trespass warning.

23-000262- Waterhouse Street @ State Line Road- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised a truck with a trailer was dumping garbage on the church property. On scene police spoke with the vehicle driver. He advised he was not dumping garbage. No garbage was observed.

23-000266- Spring Creek Road @ Ringgold Road- Vehicle Fire- Police responded with ERFD on a vehicle fire. Police preformed traffic control while ERFD extinguished the blaze.

23-000269- 4100 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a homeless person had set up camp behind the building. On scene police found the subject . He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.

23-000270- 1500 BLK Castleberry Avenue- Suspicious Person- The caller advised she observed an unknown male on her porch through the Ring camera. She described the male as burly with a plaid shirt, shorts, and a backpack. On scene police checked the area but the male was not located.

23-000271- 3100 BLK of Ringgold Road- Check Hazard- The caller advised a truck was stuck at the tunnel. On scene officers assisted with traffic control while the truck turned around.

Night Shift January 6-7, 2023

23-000278- 35 Savannah Way- Theft of Auto-Recovery- Ft. Oglethorpe Police located a 2017 Chevrolet Impala that was reported stolen on January 6, 2023, from the 6500 BLK Ringgold Road. The vehicle was released to the owner.

23-000287- 201 Eads Street- Arrest-Domestic Assault- Police were dispatched to said address and arrested Katreia Monique Toran for Domestic Assault.

23-000290- 6708 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Vehicle/Person-Arrest- Police stopped at Circle K to check on the clerk and was advised of a male, appearing intoxicated, in a vehicle. The suspect was removed and arrested for Public Intoxication, Resisting Stop Frisk Halt or Arrest and Aggravated Assault.

Day Shift January 7, 2023

23-000293- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a homeless male was loitering around the business. On scene officers spoke with him. He was checked for warrants and sent on his way.

23-000296- Sells Drive @ Wimberly Lane- Unconscious Person- The caller advised a male was passed out in a vehicle at this location. On scene officers spoke with an awake and alert driver. He advised he was having car trouble. Police called for a tow and gave him a ride to Brainard Road at his request.

Night Shift January 7-8, 2023

23-000320- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/ Drug Arrest- Police conducted a traffic stop at above location. Police found Morgan Wilson to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, fentanyl for resale and cocaine for resale. She was taken into custody and charged accordingly.

23-000321- 3500 BLK Cathy Lane- Burglary of a Vehicle- Police responded to the address regarding the caller witnessing two suspects inside of his parked vehicle. When confronted, the two suspects fled in a grey colored Honda Civic. No items were taken from the vehicle.

23-000323 – 4222 Ringgold Rd – Disorder – Police observed an active disorder in the parking lot of Speedway. Francisco Perez Miguel was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, and the victim declined to prosecute for assault and false imprisonment.

22-000324- 4214 Ringgold Road- Disorder-Arrest- Biridiana Perez was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest following a disorder call at this location. Perez was transported to the Hamilton County Jail with no issue.
