Day Shift January 2
24-000052- 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road- Theft- The victim advised between 12/29/2023 and 12/30/2023, one of his firearms was taken from his residence without permission. He described the firearm as a black 1911 Browning 380. He stated he does not recall or have a record of the serial number, and the firearm has no distinguishable features. Police did not find any signs of a forced entry to the residence, and the staff stated they have not observed any signs of an unauthorized entry. There are currently no suspects.
24-000068 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road APT 151 – Burglary – The victim called to report several items had been stolen from her apartment after she was evacuated for a plumbing leak. No suspect information available.
24-000048- 6600 BLK Jordan Run- Abandoned Auto- The caller advised a gray SUV had been abandoned at 6609 Jordan Run. Officers checked the vehicle and it had not been reported stolen. The vehicle was left at the scene due to it being parked on private property.
23-000059- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting/AOA Warrant Service- While en route to the call, dispatch advised a male wearing a blue and brown plaid shirt and blue jeans had merchandise in his pockets. On arrival police spoke with staff who stated the suspect had taken a flashlight and entered the men’s restroom. Police located the described suspect in a stall, and discovered a black Protac H12-x USB outside of the packing valued at $109.99 in the trash can of the stall he was located in. He was taken into custody for shoplifting and issued a criminal trespass warning. At the request of loss prevention his female companion was also issued a criminal trespass warning. The shoplifter was also found to have warrants through Hamilton County.
24-000060- 400 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy- Theft- The caller called reported several tools missing from his job site and would be calling back to provide the serial numbers for each item. Items missing were: four 5.0Ah Milwaukee portable batteries valued at $160 each, one 12.0Ah Milwaukee portable battery valued at $250, two stepladders valued at $180 each, one speaker valued at $100, and a specialty hat valued at $40. There are no suspects.
Night Shift January 2
24-000070 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A man was arrested on a Petition to Revoke warrant for Theft over $1,000. He was at Hamilton County Jail on unrelated charges.
24-000075 – 3600 BLK Glen Oaks Drive – Suspicious Activity – The reporting party stated they thought they saw someone in their neighbor’s backyard. Police checked the area, and nothing was located.
24-000080 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Suspicious Person – Police responded to this location for a suspicious person complaint. The party was described to be an older, tall, male wearing a puffy jacket. Police did not locate this party at this time.
