Day Shift January 23
24-000959 – 500 BLK Wando Drive – Suspicious Vehicle – A vehicle was observed occupied by a male at this location for several hours. Upon checking on the individual, it was determined his vehicle had broken down and he was waiting for assistance. He stated the vehicle may remain at this location for several hours. The car was determined not to be a traffic hazard.
24-000964 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Rolling Disorder – A caller stated there was a white Ford F-150 behind them and following and “throwing up” gun signs. The caller proceeded on Ringgold Road and the F-150 turned on Marlboro Avenue. The caller requested ERPD to cancel.
24-000961- 1600 BLK Prater Road- Child Found- Neighbors called to report they noticed a small child walking alone southbound on Prater Road. Police spoke with the child but were not able to get any information as to where he resided. While attempting to locate the child’s residence, the babysitter of the child arrived on scene and advised police the child walked away from her residence on Glowmont Drive. The child was returned to her custody.
Night Shift January 23
24-000979 – 700 BLK Astor Lane – Domestic Disorder – Officers responded to this address after a caller advised a female entered her yard calling out for help. Officers spoke with the female and were told she and her son had gotten into an altercation. The female informed officers she had been scratched by her son on the face and that she cut her wrist with a knife purposefully. The female was subsequently transported by EMS. Officers attempted to locate the son but were unable to. Both parties were intoxicated so no charges have been filed due to the lack of credibility of the statements. Officers were later notified that the female was being admitted to due to homicidal ideations towards the son.
24-000980 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Fight – Police responded to this address after a caller advised that two males were fighting in the parking lot. Officers located the two parties and were told that it was a fight between a current boyfriend and a child’s father of the same female. Both parties declined to press charges and were sent on their way.
24-000984 – 5700 BLK Roper Street – Intoxicated Person – A woman was taken into custody after she was observed yelling nonsensical statements and attempting to open random vehicles. She was also found to have three active warrants through Criminal Court. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct.
24-000967 – 3600 BLK Helen Lane – Warrant Service – Following a Disorder Prevention, a man was taken into custody on two active arrest warrants through East Ridge. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-000982 – 4214 Bennett Road – Deceptive Practice – A man received multiple phone calls from an unknown male claiming to be a Captain with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. The unknown male stated that he had missed Jury Duty and there was a warrant for his arrest with a $5,000 bond. The caller correctly recognized the calls as a scam and did not send any money.
24-000978 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – The staff reported two males in the store attempting to buy $2,000 worth of GameStop cards with a green and white credit card. The transaction was flagged as fraud in the system. The two suspects immediately left the store and drove away in a white vehicle. The video footage will be available in the two days for the incident.
