Day Shift January 19
24-000773- 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Open Door- Officers spoke with the caller who showed police the door the suspect damaged and made entry through. Police then made an entry and cleared the building. The building was found to be secure. The building was last checked with no new damage and secured on 1/18/24 around 1100 hours. Police later received an update on missing items and other damage. He advised the suspect had taken wire and copper pipes. He could not provide police with any leads, no active cameras were operating on the premises, and police found nothing on scene to process.
24-000792- 3500 BLK Land Street- Suspicious Activity- Police spoke with the complainant via telephone about suspicious activity at her mother’s house. She told police her mother had called her and told her two males knocked on her door. Upon opening the door one male barged into the house and advised she had shingles on her roof that were flipped, and he needed to check for leaks. She advised the males went into every room of the house, but nothing was taken or damaged.
Night Shift January 19
24-000805 – 1000 BLK Floyd Drive – CPR In Progress – Police responded to this location for an unconscious party. Upon arrival Police observed the victim was not breathing and began CPR. The victim was transported by EMS.
24-000808 – 9800 BLK Dayton Pike – Warrant Service – Soddy Daisy police arrested a woman on an Alias Capias warrant (Theft under $1k) out of East Ridge.
24-000818 – 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was arrested on an Alias Capias warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail on unrelated charges.
Day Shift January 20
24-000824- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- AOA/Commercial Fire- Police responded with ERFD on a building fire. Police took care of traffic control while ERFD extinguished the blaze.
24-000825- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Vehicle Burglary- The caller advised sometime between 1334 hours and 1343 hours on 1-19-24 an unknown male entered her vehicle and took cash. There is no other information.
24-000844- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting- The caller advised he observed two males attempting to take merchandise. Both were detained. One was issued a misdemeanor citation. The other was arrested and charged with resisting and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Night Shift January 20
24-000862 – 1400 BLK St Thomas Street – SIA – ERPD Officers along with Crime Suppression Detectives and on duty K9 conducted a knock and talk at a hotel room. Following the encounter officers located what appeared to components for a meth lab inside the hotel room. HCSO Narcotics and the TBI Meth task force were notified. Two subjects were taken into custody pending charges.
Day Shift January 21
24-000876- 1400 BLK Blackwell Drive- Suspicious Activity- On scene police spoke with the complainant who advised his neighbor had been shooting his cat with a BB gun. Police spoke with the homeowner who stated they advised they knew nothing about the incident. The caller showed police what he thought to be BB pellets. They were found to be a berry of some sort.
Night Shift January 21
24-000898 – 1600 BLK S Smith Street – Unconscious Party – female was reported unconscious by family members. Police backed EMS and the victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance.
24-000902 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police executed a petition to revoke warrant for driving under the influence 3rd. The subject was transported to The Hamilton County Jail by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Day Shift January 22
24-000890—900 BLK Spring Creek Road—Theft – Police responded to a Theft from Vehicle at this address. The suspect was taken into custody in Marion County on a separate Theft case. He was also identified as the suspect in the Theft case at a local vehicle repair shop. He was seen driving on camera despite having a revoked license for DUI. Warrants are being sought for Thefts from Vehicles.
24-000925- 7600 BLK Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A man was served East Ridge warrants for aggravated domestic assault and driving while revoked after turning himself in at the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift January 22
24-000939 – 3600 BLK Brainerd Road – Assist Other Agency / Person Tased – ERPD K-9 assisted HCSO with a traffic stop / narcotic search at this location. The driver was uncooperative and began to resist the officers. He was stunned and was taken into custody. Use of force report on file.
24-000937 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant Service – A man was served a Forfeiture Capias, a Probation Capias, and a Petition to Revoke, all for DUI while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
24-000934 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Theft from Auto – The RP reported an unknown suspect went into his Mercury Sable and stole his jacket, a bag of tools, and several pay stubs. The theft occurred on January 20th at the apartment complex but was not found until late in the day on January 21st. No suspects or leads currently.
