Day Shift January 18
24-000738 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Stolen Vehicle Recovery/ Narcotics Arrest – After receiving an LPR notification of a stolen red Ford F-150, police checked the area and later located it in the parking lot. Police contacted the occupant who admitted to driving the vehicle. He was detained and upon searching the vehicle, officers located marijuana, meth, and fentanyl inside. The bed of the truck was loaded with several kinds of power and hand tools, which were suspected stolen. He was transported to jail without incident.
24-000737 – 800 Poindexter Avenue – Disorder – The caller stated a man was at her residence and she wanted him to leave. He gathered his property and left without incident.
24-000743 – 7200 BLK Frawley Road- Fraud – The victim stated he received a call in November from “Alex Martin” who identified himself as being from his bank’s security division. “Martin” told him his account had been compromised and he needed to provide account information and a credit card number to resolve the issue with which he complied. He stated he observed $2,000 was withdrawn from his account and contacted the bank.
24-000748- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive- Theft- A man was misdemeanor cited for theft of property- Conduct involving merchandise after concealing a total of $194.99 of goods.
24-000731 – 4200 BLK Dupont Street – Property – The resident reported a city garbage truck “ate” her garbage can and needed a report to receive a replacement.
Night Shift January 18
24-000754 – 1400 BLK John Ross Road – Hit and Run – Officers responded to this address after a vehicle left the roadway, striking a pole and a parked vehicle. The vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival and a vague description of a black sedan traveling northbound was given to officers. Police were unable to locate the vehicle. Officers were unable to contact the owner of the parked vehicle and left a complaint card in the door of the residence.
24-000755 – 3500 BLK Pinellas Lane – Disorder – Officers responded to this address after the homeowner called advising a juvenile with intellectual disabilities was outside his residence in undergarments and a wet blanket. Officers escorted the juvenile home and spoke with the guardians about proper supervision of the juveniles. Due to the utter disarray of the house and the situation, necessary referrals were made to other agencies.
24-000763 – 4100 BLK Lazard Street – Intoxicated Driver – A concerned citizen reported an intoxicated driver in a white Chevy Camaro traveling down Bennett Rd. Police located the vehicle on Lazard St and found it was occupied. Following a field sobriety test, the male driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-000766 – 6800 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI / Assist Other Agency – Police observed a green Chevrolet truck leave the lot at a high rate of speed and observed the vehicle bouncing between the lines of the lane. Police initiated a traffic stop but the vehicle did not come to a stop until after he entered the state of Georgia. Catoosa County responded and took over the stop. The driver was taken into custody by CCSO for DUI and an active Aggravated Assault warrant.
