Day Shift January 9, 2023
23-000383 – 1410 Mack Smith Rd – Assist Other – Officers accompanied Codes Enforcement and representatives from the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office as they conducted a walk-thru of the Budgetel property.
23-000390 – 400 McBrien Rd – Arrest – Officers conducted a traffic stop on a red Nissan Altima for a seatbelt violation. The front seat passenger, Juwun Freeman, was observed not wearing a seatbelt. As the Nissan came to a stop the driver, Tammy Freeman, exited and began yelling racially infused obscenities at police. After patiently attempting to communicate with Freeman, officers attempted to detain her for disorderly conduct. She actively resisted and was brought to compliance through the use of a Taser. Tammy Freeman was transported to a local hospital at her request by EMS. Warrants have been sought against her for driving while suspended, no active vehicle insurance, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Juwun Freeman refused to initially identify himself. He was taken into custody for seatbelt violation and resisting arrest.
23-000386 – 3609 Ringgold Rd – Arrest/Warrant Service – Amy Newman was arrested for Criminal Impersonation and Simple Possession/Casual Exchange following a traffic stop. She was found to have active Hamilton County arrest warrants.
23-000374 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Person – Police responded to the area for a male subject standing on the side of the road with a sign asking for a ride and possibly panhandling. Officers spoke with the party and advised him to continue his journey at another location.
23-000385 – 3920 Ringgold Rd – Possible Theft – Employees with Dollar General reported a female failed to pay for some merchandise while at the self-checkout on this date. Review of the video surveillance showed the party attempting to make several attempts to pay for the items with a credit card before leaving the store with the items.
23-000384 – 1500 BLK Melody Ln – Harassment – The resident advised he’s receiving aggressive sounding text messages from his daughter’s boyfriend during their mutual conversations. He was advised to cease communication and report any further contact. The parties advised they understood and just wanted the incident documented.
Night Shift January 9-10, 2023
23-000403 – 623 Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious – A subject was trespassed from the Hampton Inn following him annoying guests.
23-000495 – 619 Camp Jordan Pkwy – AOA – Jessie Conner was arrested at this location on a failure to appear warrant out of Sequatchie County following attempting to report a vehicle stolen. Police determined the vehicle to have been repossessed. Conner was transported to the Hamilton County Jail with no issue.
23-000411- 500 S. Seminole Dr – Arrest – Following a traffic stop at this location, Douglas Alexander was taken into custody for DUI. Alexander was also issued a citation for failure to maintain lane.
23-000415 – 730 Germantown Cir– Disorderly conduct – Police were called here regarding a disorder and subsequently arrested Lisa Hartley for disorderly conduct.
