Day Shift January 22, 2023
23-000888- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Drug Overdose- Police responded with ERFD on a female overdosing. On scene police assisted ERFD. EMS transported the patient to the hospital.
23-000891- 1500 BLK Waterhouse Street- Suspicious Person-The caller advised a suspicious male wrapped in a blanket and barefoot was walking the neighborhood trying to enter houses. On scene the male was not located.
Night Shift January 22-23, 2023
23-000901- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder- Employees called in fear over a homeless male bringing his bicycle and other belongings into the store and wasting fountain drink. After talking with all parties, the male agreed to leave after finishing the drink that he purchased.
23-000906 –Newport Drive – Elder Abuse –Police were dispatched to respond to the ER regarding an elderly female that was brought in by personal vehicle. Medical staff suspected an assault had taken place due to excessive bruising on the female. Police were unable to speak to the female due to her being unconscious and intubated, but were able to document her injuries. Officers spoke with the boyfriend of the female, who had arrived home after being out of town for the weekend and found her unresponsive. CID was notified and responded to the scene. The cause of injury in under investigation.
Day Shift January 21, 2023
23-000851- 200 BLK of Brookwood Drive- Unknown Trouble- Dispatch advised of a phase two 911 call around this location. The caller advised he was agitated and about to kill someone then disconnected. Attempts were made to regain contact, but the call was made from a 911 only phone. On scene police checked the area but found nothing out of the ordinary.
23-000857- 2000 BLK Wren Road- Disorder/Neighbor Dispute- The caller advised an unknown male in a red car pulled up to her a started yelling and cursing. On scene the male had already left. While speaking with the caller the male called dispatch. Police spoke with all parties involved and advised them to leave each other alone.
23-000859- 4300 BLK of Ringgold Road- Suspicious Activity- The caller advised a homeless person was walking with a baby stroller in the construction zone picking up items. On scene police encountered her. She was found to have a theft warrant out of sessions court. She was detained and transported to Silverdale.
23-000862- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A woman was served an East Ridge warrant at Silverdale.
23-000863- 1000 Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifting-The caller advised a male in a white Chevy truck was taking items from the store. On scene police encountered him in the parking lot. On further investigation no evidence of shoplifting could be found but Bass Pro management requested he be trespassed from the store. He was issued a criminal trespass warning and sent on his way.
Night Shift January 21-22, 2023
23-000865- 800 BLK Eileen Ln- Residential Fire- Officers responded to this location after the reporting party observed heavy smoke coming from his neighbor’s house. Police stood by on scene and assisted with traffic while ERFD worked the scene.
23-000868- 3100 Ringgold Road- Crash-Property Damage- A semi-truck disobeyed all warning signs for Bachman Tunnels and got stuck inside the west bound tube.
23-000870- 700 BLK Frawley Road- Arrest-DUI- Police observed a vehicle traveling 79 mph in the 6700 block of Ringgold Road. A traffic stop was initiated and the vehicle came to a stop in the driveway in the 700 block of Frawley Road where the two occupants fled into the residence. The driver was arrested for speeding, driving on revoked, driving under the influence, evading arrest, and possession of a handgun while intoxicated. His passenger was arrested for evading arrest and resisting arrest. He was also served with two Hamilton County warrants for narcotics possession.
23-000875- 2100 BLK Eledge Lane- Assault-Delayed- The caller reported being assaulted by male known to him.
23-000876- 1500 Castleberry Ave- Arrest-DUI- A driver was taken into custody for DUI and open container law at this location after officers observed him drive over the bushes at the Taco Bell.
23-000882- 4000 BLK Ringgold Road- Overdose- Officers responded to this location after the reporting party advised his friend was overdosing from an unknown substance. On scene police administered two doses of Narcan at which time the female party regained consciousness. The female party was transported to hospital by EMS.
23-000883- 6708 Ringgold Road- Arrest-Drugs- A man was found in possession of contraband and arrested for Possession of Schedule II, Possession of Schedule VI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
Day Shift January 20, 2023
23-000817- 10 BLK Woodard Circle- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a male was walking the neighborhood. On scene police checked the area and located one of our local homeless walking. He did not appear to be doing anything wrong.
23-000819- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder- The caller advised a customer was causing a disturbance in the bank and assaulted an employee. On scene police attempted to speak with the male but he became more agitated. It was quickly determined the male was in mental distress. He was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital. The bank employee declined prosecution.
23-000824- 5900 BLK of Ringgold Road- Crash with Injuries/Arrest- Police were dispatched to a crash with injuries. On scene officers spoke with both drivers. While speaking with one driver he appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant. He was arrested and charged with several drug offenses.
Night Shift January 20-21, 2023
23-000839- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- SIA/Arrest- While on patrol officers observed a female passed out in a vehicle against the steering wheel at one of the pumping stations. Officers were able to wake up the driver who appeared delirious. Another female approached the vehicle and advised officers that the vehicle was hers. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted after observing drug paraphernalia in plain view. Both parties were also found to have warrants out of Hamilton County and taken into custody. The vehicle owner was additionally charged with simple possession of meth and simple possession of schedule II. The other was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-000845- 4222 Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The clerk wanted police to tell an unknown male to leave the store. The male remained in the store for over an hour prior to police arriving. The party left when asked.
