The following information was compiled from ERPD “pass along” reports.
Jan. 22 Day Shift
3715 Ringgold Road (shoplifter):
Ronald Taylor was issued a misdemeanor citation for shoplifting, after loss prevention observed him attempted to steal two bottles of almond milk. Ronald Taylor was also criminally trespassed from Food City.
6101 Ringgold Road Apt. 107 (auto burglary):
The resident reported her wallet being stolen out of her son’s vehicle delayed by several weeks. She believed it was stolen either while parked at her residence or in the parking lot of O’Reillys. She stated that someone has been cashing her checks and will call back with more info on the location of the banks the checks were cashed at.
805 Harris Drive (auto burglary):
The complainant reported that someone entered his vehicle at his residence between January 18th and 20th. A Ruger LCR was stolen and was entered into NCIC.
1417 St. Thomas Street (warrant service):
Police assisted Ft. Oglethorpe police by arresting Cody Ringley on Catoosa County probation violation warrants.
6725 Ringgold Road (theft):
The complainant lost her credit card at the Family Dollar on January 19th. It has since been used at the store several times. A review of security footage showed an employee using the card three times. Warrants will be taken out on the employee.
4907 Fike Drive (auto theft):
The resident preheated his car early this morning, and he witnessed a black male wearing a gray hoodie enter the car and drive off. The vehicle, a gray Nissan Versay with Illinois plate.
3715 Ringgold Road (shoplifting):
Two juveniles were cited for shoplifting from Food City.
3522 Missionaire Avenue (auto burglary):
The resident reported the overnight burglary of her car, and the theft of a backpack.
1609 John Ross Road (auto burglary):
The resident reported the theft of a Glock 43 taken from her SUV between the early afternoon of January 21st and early morning of today.

Night Shift
6721 Ringgold Road (Theft):
The manager of Family Dollar called police to report three black males stealing items from the store. One of the males described purchased an item and then left. Shortly after the first party left, the other two males ran out of the store with two baskets of items. The manager advised she believes the three males were together but was not sure. The two suspects that took the items were described as two black males. One suspect had dreadlocks and was wearing a red hoodie. The other was described as having a skinny build. The manager told police a customer stated there was a white male party was with the group, and they left in a white Cadillac Escalade. Management advised they will attempt to get video footage downloaded to give to police. Store management was unsure of what was actually stolen. There is no other information to report at this time.
