Day Shift January 17: Bravo Team
25-000596- 3500 BLK Ringgold Road- Supplemental reports – A man reported that the vehicle that had stolen property from his residence on Pine Needles Trail was in the parking lot at this address. Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle stated her soon to be Ex-husband had stolen the car at the time this theft occurred. A supplemental report was taken and the Chattanooga Police Officer over the case was made aware of the facts.
25-000597- 3700 BLK Ringgold Rd – Deceptive Practice – The reporting party informed police that an unknown individual contacted her business and falsely claimed that she had missed jury duty and had outstanding warrants for her arrest. The caller instructed her to pay the associated fines through Walmart Pay. The reporting party subsequently made a payment of $4,667 before realizing it was a scam.
Night Shift January 17: Delta Team
25-000603 – 5300 BLK Stateline Road – Theft – An orange Stihl 290 chainsaw was stolen from a yard on Stateline Road while the property owner performed yard work. A patrol-level investigation is underway to identify the suspect.
25-000608- 1100 BLK S. Seminole Rd- Arrest – A man was stopped for speeding. He was subsequently arrested for driving on a Revoked License and speeding.
25-000610-4200 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Unconscious Person – Police responded to the speedway on reports of a male unconscious outside the store. When police arrived, they found the male upright and talking. The man appeared extremely intoxicated when police began speaking to him. He was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.
25-000612 – 400 BLK McBrien RD– Traffic stop/ Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle with switched plates. The two juveniles were found to have alcohol, THC pens, and parts of an AR-style rifle. Both parties were placed into custody after being unable to contact a guardian. The on-call wrecker towed the vehicle from the scene.
25-000615-4200 BLK Ringgold Rd.- Shoplifting – A customer reported seeing a female stuffing items in her pockets and book bag. Upon police arrival, they located the female sitting inside the restaurant. When police contacted the female, they found she was juvenile. Officers asked her how she got to the business, and she stated she walked to school from Brainerd Road and had been at the there since 9:00 p.m. Police contacted her guardian and filled a report with DCS. The child’s guardian arrived on the scene and picked the child up.
Day Shift January 18: Bravo Team
25-000625 – 1600 BLK S Seminole Dr – Deceptive Practice – The caller was scammed by someone posing as a Coinbase representative, resulting in the theft of his cryptocurrency. He was informed that Coinbase does not call for information.
25-000627 – 1500 BLK Rebecca Dr – Domestic Disorder – ERPD responded to a disorder. A man and woman claimed no argument, but neighbors reported yelling. The woman’s mother revealed the man was her ex-boyfriend. He left the property to prevent further issues.
Night Shift January 18: Delta Team
25-000658-400 BLK S Moore Rd-Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – Police stopped a vehicle after it failed to maintain its lane. The male driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence, speeding, and failing to maintain the lane. While at jail he refused to consent to a blood draw so an additional charge of implied consent was added.
25-000662-1900 BLK McBrien Rd-Traffic Stop/Narcotics Violation – Police conducted a traffic stop on a sedan with no taillights. Following consent to search, police located a small baggie of narcotics (suspected cocaine) in the vehicle. The driver was issued a misdemeanor citation and released from the scene.
Day Shift January 19: Bravo Team
25-000669- 2100 BLK Taylor Street- Warrant service – A man was served on four warrants Aggravated Domestic Assault, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Burglary, and Theft of Property at the above address with the assistance of the Chattanooga Police Department.
25-000679 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Rd – Disorder – Hotel management asked the occupants of a room to leave due to a disturbance. When they refused, police were called to assist in removal of the occupants. One was arrested on an active criminal court warrant and transported to Hamilton County Jail. The two others were given one hour by staff to vacate the premises.
25-000686- 3600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop / Arrest – A white Dodge Charger was stopped for registration violation. It was discovered that the driver had an active Order of Protection against the female passenger. She also had active warrants out of Session Court.
Night Shift January 19: Delta Team
25-000694 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Other Warrants – A woman was taken into custody on Hamilton County (2) active warrants for Theft and Failure to Appear during a traffic stop for driving with no headlights after sunset.
25-000698-5700 BLK Ringgold Rd-Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest – Police stopped a vehicle for failure to maintain the lane. A man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and failing to maintain a lane. He was transported to The Hamilton County Jail without issues.
Day Shift January 20: Alpha Team
25-000709 – 10 BLK N Lynncrest Drive – Aggravated Burglary – The caller reported her deceased father’s house had been ransacked. On arrival, police found signs of entry using an unsecure window. Numerous drawers were rummaged through, but the caller did not believe anything was taken. There are no suspects currently.
25-000717- 700 BLK Frawley Rd- Domestic Disorder – Police responded to the apartments after management reported a couple fighting. Upon arrival, police observed the door to an apartment standing open and broken. Officers made entry and cleared the home. Upon exiting the residence, police encountered the tenants of the apartment. The man advised police an argument started before he locked the woman out of the residence. She responded by kicking the door down.
25-000723- 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road- Vehicle recovery – Officers received an LPR alert on a stolen Nissan Frontier in the 6800 block of Ringgold Road travelling west bound. Officers observed the vehicle travelling westbound and then turning northbound on Mack Smith Road. The vehicle turned into the Cracker Barrell parking lot and was stopped. The driver was taken into custody for theft over $10,000.
Night Shift January 20: Charlie Team
25-000730 – 10 BLK Frawley Road – Suspicious Activity – A resident reported an unknown male stopped at his home and requested to use his shower to “wash the sins away.” The resident denied access to his home. The unknown male provided him with a jar of honey for his troubles and left the area. Police were unable to locate or identify the suspicious male.
25-000735 – I-24 Westbound – Assist Other Agency – Following a traffic stop, a woman was taken into custody for an arrest warrant through Hamilton County Sessions Court. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-000736 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive– Domestic Disorder – Police responded to a domestic disorder between a man and woman. One stated the argument started over a TV remote and eventually turned into a physical altercation. The other confirmed the argument started over a TV remote but denied claims of an assault. Police found no evidence or injuries consistent with an assault at the location. One party agreed to leave for the evening.
