Day Shift January 1: Alpha Squad
25-000016 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious Person – The caller reported a male approached her vehicle, which was parked in the rear of the business, and said he ran a business before asking if she wanted to go on a walk with him in the park. The male eventually left when she stated she had to return to work.
24-000020 – 1500 BLK Karwill Lane – Disorder – Police responded to help a party coax her daughter out of the bathroom. The child was upset about upcoming events, but officers were able to calm the situation.
25-000012-3800 BLK Kingwood Circle- Public Intoxication Arrest – Police were dispatched to the above address on reports of a suspicious person trying to enter a residence. While enroute, officers spotted the suspect stumbling in the 1000 block of Greenslake Road. Officers observed he smelled strongly of alcohol and struggled to maintain balance. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift January 1: Charlie Squad
25-000028 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody in Bradley County for an Alias Capias through the City of East Ridge. The original charge was Driving on a Revoked License. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-000030 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place– Domestic Assault / Arrest – A reporting party stated her son came home intoxicated and became aggressive toward her daughter for unknown reasons. The mother attempted to break up the altercation, but he pushed her into the next room. Police found that the mother and daughter both sustained minor injuries in the assault. The subject was arrested and charged with two counts of Domestic Assault.
24-000031 – 2100 BLK Dabney Drive – Suspicious Vehicle – A resident advised a white work van drove slowly by her house three times in a two-hour period. She stated the same vehicle was also parked near her at a local grocery store. The suspicious vehicle was described as white Chevrolet work van, with dark tinted windows, and two ladders on top. The vehicle was driven by a male, and had a Georgia Registration. Police checked the area but did not locate the vehicle. She requested extra patrols in the area.
25-000033 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Theft / Foot Pursuit / Arrest – Police were called to the restaurant after a customer refused to pay his bill. Officers found the suspect was using another person’s ID to buy alcohol. When confronted, the male fled the scene on foot. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody and charged with Evading Arrest, Identity Theft, Theft of Services, and Public Intoxication.
25-000038 – 1100 BLK McBrien Road– Disorder – Police responded to this location for a disorder between roommates. Officers determined that the disorder was verbal only and no crime had been committed. The two individuals were advised to stay in their respective rooms and stay away from each other. Based on the residents’ behavior, future calls are expected at this residence until an eviction notice is secured.
25-000039 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Drive – Domestic Disorder / Arrest – Police returned to the residence for a disorder involving the same four individuals as earlier in the day. Police found the man was heavily intoxicated, and he continually interrupted police during their interviews with the other involved parties on scene. After repeated warnings, he was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct. Enroute to the jail, he also made several threats against the arresting officer. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Retaliation.
