Day Shift January 9: Bravo Squad
25-000318- 1100 BLK Tamarack Trail- Fraud – A resident called in to report that she had been scammed by individuals posing to be Hamilton County Sheriff Deputies who stated she had warrants out for her arrest for failure to appear in court. She stated that $3,000 in total was deposited (crypto currency) in East Ridge and another thousand was deposited in two locations inside Chattanooga.
25-000323-3800 BLK Altamira Drive- Disorder with a Weapon/Arrest – Police responded to the listed address for an active disorder with a weapon. A woman was found to have assaulted one of the employees of the group home, along with damaging the employees’ phone and a table inside the residence. She was placed under arrest and charged with Assault and Vandalism.
25-000331-800 BLK Darryl Lane- Suspicious Activity – Police responded to the listed address regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the residence. The vehicle had left the area prior to police arrival.
Night Shift January 9: Delta Squad
25-000341-4300 BLK Ringgold RD- Suspicious Activity – The RP stated he left his buggy of groceries at the entrance and went to retrieve his vehicle. A male attempted to take his groceries but left after being confronted by the caller.
25-000345- 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd- DUI Arrest – A man was arrested for DUI after his truck was left unattended at the intersection of Ringgold Rd and McDonald Rd. He returned to the truck and admitted to drinking and driving. After SFST, it was determined that he was intoxicated.
25-000348-1600 BLK Springvale Road-Suspicious Person – A caller informed the police that her neighbor had spotted someone dressed entirely in black on her porch. When the neighbor approached the stranger to inquire about their presence, the individual ran into the woods at Springvale Park. The police assured the reporting party that her residence would be added to a watch list and that extra patrols would be conducted in the area throughout the night.
25-000350-5300 BLK Rose Street-Back Up Other Agency – Walker County requested the East Ridge Police to check a residence for a missing person. The police spoke to the homeowner who stated that they hadn’t seen or spoken to the party in months.
25-000352-3900 BLK Bennett Rd.-Domestic Assault – Police responded to the listed address for a domestic disorder. Upon police arrival, they determined an assault occurred. The male suspect was arrested for Domestic Assault and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
