February 03, 2023 – Day Shift
23-001352- 1500 block South Seminole Drive- Unknown Trouble/Unknown Medical- The caller advised she needed to go to the hospital. EMS responded and transported the caller to the hospital.
23-001357- 3900 block Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised a local homeless male has made a mess behind the business. On scene police spoke with the caller. She advised the man had been behind the business in the patio area. during this time, he damaged property and threw trash everywhere. Report on file.
23-001362- 482 McBrien Road- Shoplifting- The caller advised a male and female shoplifted items from the store. They were last observed leaving in a red truck. Report on file.
February 03, 2023 – Night Shift
23-001378- 300 block Alice Dr- Fugitive arrest- While patrolling the area police observed a party who had an active warrant for parole violation. He was placed under arrest after the warrant for confirmed.
23-001390- 941 Spring Creek Rd- Disorder- Officers responded to the Parkridge East Hospital regarding a combative elderly patient. The elderly female requested to leave and be transported back to her residence by police. Upon arriving at her residence police had to force entry at the owner’s request after her family refused to come get her and did not have a spare key.
February 04, 2023 – Day Shift
23-001400- 950 Spring Creek Road- Overdose/AOA Warrant Service- Police were dispatched with ERFD regarding an overdose at this location. One Narcan was administered. A male subject was transported to the hospital. Another male subject refused medical transport. The male subject transported was also found to have an extraditable warrant out of Georgia. Hospital staff were advised to contact police upon his release. Later in the shift the subject was detained and transported to Silverdale to await extradition back to Georgia.
23-001404- 201 Eads Street- Auto Theft- A red Ford Escape left unlocked at this location was taken some time between midnight and this morning around 11 AM. There is no suspect information available at this time. No further vehicle descriptors offered, and vehicle entered in NCIC on this date.
23-001405- 1417 Saint Thomas Street- Disorder/Arrest- The caller advised a male and female were fighting in a room. On scene police encountered the couple and separated them. A witness was also on scene. A male subject stated he got into a verbal argument with a female subject. The male subject stated the verbal argument got physical and he tried to escape the room and went to the Motel 6 office where another subject witnessed the event. The female subject advised police she was also hit but had no marks on her and had no witnesses to corroborate her statement. The female subject was placed into custody for domestic assault and transported to Silverdale. She was booked as Jane Doe due to several unsuccessful attempts by police to find positive identification for her.
23-001406- 7609 Standifer Gap Road- Warrant Service- A woman was served several East Ridge warrants at Silverdale.
23-001412- 1000 Bass Pro Drive- Shoplifter- The caller requested police respond to the business regarding a male shoplifting. While enroute, dispatch advised the suspect was leaving the store in a red Jeep Liberty with a Tennessee license plate. On scene police spoke with asset protectioni. He showed officers a video of a male wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans who had entered the store and began putting six knives and two multitools in his waist band. The suspect then exited the store and entered the red Jeep Liberty. During the investigation, the vehicle was found to be registered, and that registration was investigated resulting in suspect identification. Warrants will be sought for theft of property (shoplifting).
23-001414- 6400 block Ringgold Road- Suspicious People/Overdose- The caller advised a male and female in a black vehicle were loitering on the property. On scene police spoke with the female. The male was unresponsive. EMT’s were called and responded. Narcan was deployed.
February 04, 2023 – Night Shift
23-001419- 300 block Dunlap Avenue- Child Abuse- Police responded to a report of child abuse at this location. CPS and CID were notified. The alleged suspect was found to have a warrant and was taken into custody on her warrant. The children were placed with a neighbor per the mother’s wishes and with the permission of CPS.
23-001421- 5300 block Dupont Street- Crash-DUI-Arrest- Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at this location and ultimately arrested a man for DUI.
23-001423- 1500 Prigmore Road- Fireworks- Police were dispatched for shots fired call but determined it to fireworks.
23-001427- 3600 block Ringgold Road- Arrest/Warrant- While patrolling the area police contacted a suspicious man. He was placed under arrest after he was found to have multiple active warrants through General Sessions Court.
23-001436- 700 block S. Moore Road- Assisting other Agency- East Ridge Police assisted Chattanooga Police in locating and detaining a female suspect.
23-001437- 3600 block Ringgold Road – Arrest-Domestic Aggravated Assault and other Charges- A man was arrested on charges of Aggravated Domestic Assault, False Imprisonment, Theft of Property, Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Possession of Marijuana after he threatened the victim with a handgun.
February 05, 2023 – Day Shift
23-001441- 3500 block Bennett Road- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised a black truck was stopped in the neighbors front yard. On scene police located an unconscious male in the driver’s seat. The male was identified and arrested for DUI.
23-001443- 588 Wando Drive- Suspicious Package- The caller advised someone in a black vehicle dropped a bag in the roadway that was smoking. On scene police checked the bag. It was steaming trash.
23-001455- 3600 block Fountain Avenue- Hit and Run/Suspicious Activity- Police were flagged down for a hit and run crash at this location. The witness advised four male juveniles struck the mailbox then exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. One of the four left in a gray SUV. On checking the registration, the vehicle was found to be stolen. It was removed from NCIC.
February 05, 2023 – Night Shift
23-001460- 5407 Weaver Street- Disorder/ Warrant Service- Police were called here regarding an alleged assault between a male and female. Upon arrival, police contacted a female and male party. Both were involved in a verbal argument and did not have any injuries to suggest an assault occurred. While on scene police learned the woman had multiple arrest warrants through sessions court. She was transported to jail without further incident.
Day Shift February 6, 2023
23-001476 – 6510 Ringgold- Warrant Service, Vandalism, Resisting- While serving felony warrants a man and his girlfriend became combative. The wanted man barricaded himself in a bathroom and was removed with the assistance of an OC fogger. He continued his resistive behavior once in a patrol vehicle by kicking the door, warping it, and kicking out the door glass. He was charged with Resisting Arrest and Vandalism. the woman was charged with Resisting Arrest (by hindering Law Enforcement making an arrest) and filing a false report.
23-001471 – 4320 Bennett Rd – Assault – The parent of a juvenile student reported her child was assaulted by another juvenile while at school today. Police reviewed video surveillance of the incident and a juvenile petition will be sought for the suspect. Both juveniles were sent home for the day.
23-001486 – 4100 block Lazard St – Theft from Vehicle – The victim reported the theft of his TN license plate sometime between 02/03/23 and 02/04/23. No suspect information and the license plate was entered into NCIC.
Night Shift February 6, 2023
23-001511 – 6200 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was arrested on multiple arrest warrants through Hamilton County.
23-001506 – 1500 block Burns Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Police were requested for extra patrols due to a child getting in a fight at school with suspected gang members. The family noticed an unfamiliar white car in the driveway. When the family went outside the vehicle drove away. Report on file.
23-001513 – 700 block Bacon Trail – CPR In Progress – Police responded to this location and located a male subject unconscious and without a pulse. Police initiated CPR and he was transported to an area hospital by EMS.
23-001345 – 3500 block Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop and a man was arrested for an active East Ridge warrant for the charge of Obstruction of Justice. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail with no issue.
23-001520 – 7017 Shallowford Road – Warrant Service / Arrest – Police responded to this location due to the possibility of a female identified as a fugitive staying at this hotel. Police arrived on scene and located a motorcycle that was driven by her on 2/2/23. Police then observed her walking in parking lot. After being ordered to stop, she fled on foot. Following a short foot pursuit she was arrested for four warrants out of East Ridge. In addition to East Ridge charges she also has active warrants out of five other agencies in north Georgia and Tennessee.
No Number Assigned – 3819 Ringgold Road – AOA – ERPD received a BOLO of a Burglary in progress suspect. The suspect fled from CPD in a small U-Haul truck. Police observed the vehicle on Ringgold Road and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was detained until CPD arrived and took him into custody. He was also issued a citation for driving on revoked by ERPD.
23-001521 – Welcome Center I-75 Northbound – MVC with Entrapment – Police responded to a vehicle roll over. Officers arrived on scene and were advised that a baby was trapped in the backseat. Officers were able to free the baby. The mother and child were transported by EMS.
