Day Shift February 21, 2023
23-002127 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder – At the request of store management, police removed a large number of juveniles again from the Speedway after they became disorderly. They could be heard by the dispatcher yelling profanities in the store.
23-002109- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person – Police were asked to check on an individual sleeping inside this location. Police made contact with the man who was checked for warrants and was asked to leave. Hey was issued a criminal trespass warning per the owner’s request.
23-002111- 500 Germantown Road- Arrest – During a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody for violating an order of protection due to him being in the vehicle with the protected party.
23-002125- 6500 BLK Ringgold Road- Theft – Police were dispatched to this location for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim advised she left her vehicle at the store overnight due to the keys being locked in the vehicle. She stated that her vehicle was broken into sometime between 0700 and 0730 hours on this date per an employee’s account of events. A report was completed, and video footage will be retrieved at a later date.
Night Shift February 21, 2023
23-002148 – 1515 Tombras Avenue – Fight – Police were requested to this location by parks and rec staff at the community center following arguments between opposing players’ families at a basketball game at the rec center. While standing by, approximately one hundred patrons of the event were exiting the rec center when multiple fights erupted. In total, approximately eight to 10 fights occurred between multiple parties. Police attempted to separate all fights and disperse the crowd. Due to the large amount of unruly people, police requested assistance from other agencies. Chattanooga Police responded to the scene and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies as well as THP responded. Police were eventually able to calm the situation and get all parties to leave. Two ERPD officers were struck by parties involved in the fights, however, no officers involved sustained injuries from the events. One female was treated by EMS on scene for minor injuries and released.
23-002147 – 300 BLK Dunlap Avenue – Overdose – Police responded to this location in reference to an unconscious person. Police arrived on scene and located a male unconscious in the roadway. Police administered one dose of Narcan to the male at which time he returned to consciousness. The male was identified and transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
23-002152 – 3600 BLK Larry Lane – Suspicious Person / Misc. Report / F.I. – Police responded to this location in reference to a male checking car door handles. Police arrived on scene and located a male running in the yard of on Larry Lane. The male was identified and matched the description and footage viewed from Old Ringgold Road and other locations that reported vehicles entered. He was searched with his consent and police located a large amount of coins and several twenty dollar bills in his pockets. Due to none of the prior callers wishing to prosecute the party was released from the scene. Police completed a miscellaneous report and field interview for later reports. He is a thin male, approximately six feet tall, last seen wearing blue jeans and a white jacket.
22-017115 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A woman was served an arrest warrant, while she was already incarcerated at Silverdale jail. The warrant was for Fraudulent use of a credit/debit card.
23-002141 – 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Found Property – Police responded to this location in reference to the reporting party locating two debit cards in her driveway. Police attempted to contact the owner of the cards, however, were unsuccessful. The cards were placed into property and evidence.
