The following information was compiled from “pass along reports” furnished by the administration of the ERPD.
February 04 – Day Shift
3502 Ringgold Road (theft):
The complainant reported the theft of an orange and white 20” Stihl chainsaw MS291 from the bed of his pickup truck while he was making a purchase at Ace Hardware. A review of the store’s surveillance showed a small, white 4-door sedan (possibly a Ford Focus, Chrysler 200 or Toyota Corolla) enter the parking stall next to the victim’s vehicle shortly after he arrived at the store. At that time, an unknown subject exited the vehicle, selected the chainsaw and then re-entered the vehicle before the leaving with the property in said vehicle. 21-001538
1000 Bass Pro Shop (theft):
Loss Prevention filed a report about three females stealing over $1,100 of clothing and sunglasses on 10/27/20. 21-001545
1410 N. Mack Smith Road (mental illness):
A male subject wrote a suicide note and then attempted to overdose on his medication. He was transported by ambulance to Erlanger Hospital. 21-001528

February 04 –Night Shift
604 Bacon Trail (Disorder 21-001552):
Kiera Walker was taken into custody for aggravated domestic assault after allegedly striking her juvenile roommate with a vehicle multiple times before crashing it into the front porch of her apartment.
5080 S Terrace (Assist Other Agency 21-0001553):
Chattanooga Police requested assistance locating two male subjects who fled Chef Lin without paying. Nothing was located.
6400 Ringgold Rd (Arrests 21-01554):
Mary Curd was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She also had active warrants through Hamilton County. Johnny Yarborough was detained on Catoosa County warrants and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
601 Walnut St (Warrant Arrest 21-001558):
An East Ridge warrant was served on Nicholas Guinn at the Hamilton County Jail.
505 S Seminole (Vehicle vs House 21-001568):
Officers responded to the scene of a vehicle hitting a house. Police arrived and located an orange Volkswagen, approximately six feet in the air and lodged in the side of a residence. The occupants fled the crash prior to police arrival but were very quickly located on Castle Avenue and detained. It was later learned the vehicle was stolen and had been a suspect vehicle in a shots fired call earlier in the evening. The occupants were two male juveniles who were transported to Juvenile Detention.

February 05 – Day Shift
21-001569- 4006 Bennett Road- Aggravated Burglary-
Nick Mallett busted through the front door of the residence looking for Noe Simmons. He was gone on police arrival. Warrants were issued. Later in the shift Mallett was located at his house on Astor Lane and arrested.
21-001579- 3657 Ringgold Road (Cascades Motel)-
Emma Cheaves was arrested and charged with filing false reports after telling police she had been kidnapped and held against her will at the Cascades Motel. The alleged suspect was located at the Cascades Motel. After the investigation police determined Cheaves was lying in her report to police.
21-001582- 1914 Bowen Road- Suspicious Vehicle-
The caller requested police check the area for a black Ford sedan cruising the neighborhood. On arrival the vehicle was not located.
21-001586- 6513 Burr Street- Scammer-
The caller requested to speak with police regarding a voice message she received advising she has a warrant. Police contacted the complainant via cellular device. Complainant advised she received an automated voicemail claiming to be with the Federal Reserve. The message stated that there was fraudulent activity detected with her bank account and a warrant for her arrest was being issued. Complainant stated that she realized this was a scam call and that is when she called police.
21-001590- 4348 Ringgold Road (Sonic)- Assault Delayed-
Upon arrival police met with the victim and her father. The juvenile female stated juvenile male did sneak up behind her on 2/3/21 around 1530 hours and brushed his fingers through her hair eliciting and unwanted, offensive, and provocative attack on her. Juvenile female did wish to prosecute. Juvenile male was involved in an assault and another sexual offense on the same date and time and location under complaint #21-001484 on 2/3/21. Police will pursue juvenile attachments on juvenile male.
21-001593- 6404 Ringgold Road (Burger King)- Suspicious Person-
The caller advised of a homeless male hanging out at the business spitting on himself. The caller requested police respond and ask him to leave. On arrival police encountered Jeffery D. He was advised to move along.

February 05 – Night Shift
21-001610. 4214 Ringgold Road/miscellaneous report:
Police were dispatched to a traumatic injury in the middle of Ringgold Road. Upon arrival, police met with the victim, Quindrell R. The victim stated three unknown black males carjacked him. Victim said the suspects stole his 2019 Jeep Compass. Victim was very uncooperative and began yelling at police. Victim stated he did not want to answer questions. Victim is a known gang member and has violent tendencies toward police. The man was transported to Erlanger Hospital by EMS due to his ankle being broken when he jumped out of the vehicle. Officers later followed up with the victim at Erlanger Main. Once again he informed police that he did not wish to cooperate with police and did not want to file a report.
728 Frawley Road, (Disorder 21-001603):
Police arrested Tracey Marie Hilpert for stalking her neighbor. Ms. Hilpert, on several occasions, engaged in a verbal confrontation with her neighbor. On this date, she engaged verbally in the morning hours and returned this evening to knock on the door and ring the Ring doorbell for the purpose of engaging the neighbor. The neighbor felt intimidated, threatened, and harassed.
21-001626/ 5304 Anderson Ave / traffic stop / arrest:
Two Hispanic males were arrested following a traffic stop at this location both males were transported to the Hamilton county jail with no issue. The male driver was charged with DUI, and the passenger was charged with Public Intoxication.
