Day Shift February 6
24-001552 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road / 400 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Assist CPD – CPD had multiple victims in a shooting. ERPD responded to local ERs in the event any of the victims/suspects arrived.
24-001559 – 3800 BLK Juandale Trail – Assist CPD – CPD contacted several individuals who were apparently involved in some way in the shooting at Notre Dame. ERPD assisted in any capacity requested.
24-001533 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Rd Rm – Assist EMS – Police responded to an unconscious party. The patient was observed lying face down in a pool of blood but breathing. EMS and ERFD arrived on scene and tended to the patient, who was then transported for treatment.
24-001542-4300 BLK Ringgold Road- Fraud- The victim reported someone has used their identification to open a loan for $500 in his name in January of this year.
24-001543-3800 BLK Ringgold Road- Fraud- The victim reported someone had used her identity to open a loan for $1,500, two years ago. No suspect information currently.
24-001545- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Fraud- The same victim as above reported someone had used her identity to open another loan for $1,000, eight years ago. No suspect information currently.
24-001532 – 1000 BLK of McBrien Road – Arrest – ERPD observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed, in the 1000 block of McBrien Road. A traffic stop was attempted at South Lovell Avenue and Anderson Avenue. The vehicle, a white Nissan Pathfinder, initially appeared to be stopping at Anderson Avenue and South Terrace; however, the vehicle proceeded at a normal rate of speed onto I-24 east and onto I-75 north. The vehicle finally stopped after officers followed it for approximately five minutes at speeds not exceeding 60 mph. A female driver was taken into custody for speeding, license required and evading.
24-001545 –3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist EMS – An employee knocked over and was trapped under a display. ERPD assisted EMS in caring for the patient who was transported to Parkridge East ER.
24-001556 – 1517 Tombras Avenue – Disorder – Police responded to the East Ridge Courthouse following a complaint from courtroom staff of two parties arguing. Officers spoke with a woman who stated her ex-boyfriend was being verbally aggressive towards her prior to their upcoming court case. Police separated the two and advised them to have no further communication during court.
Night Shift February 6
24-001566 – 1000 BLK Hurst Street – Suspicious Persons – A homeowner reported seeing two individuals walking down his road with flashlights and tools in their hands. The homeowner was concerned the suspicious persons were looking to break into vehicles or homes. Police checked the area but did not locate the two suspicious persons.
24-001573 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant / AOA – During a casual encounter at this location a man was found to have an outstanding warrant from Red Bank Police Department. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001579 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Warrant / AOA – During a casual encounter a man was found to have multiple outstanding warrants out of Catoosa County. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
24-001569 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road– Arrest – Police responded to assist EMS with an alleged aggressive patient stating he was poisoned. Police arrived and the patient began running towards officers, then changed direction and ran towards Ringgold Road. Police followed the patient as he ran into Ringgold Road in light traffic and ran to a gas station. Due to his mental state and apparent drug use, he was taken into custody for Public Intoxication. Following a search at the jail he was found to be in possession of .4g of suspected methamphetamine.
