Day Shift February 22
24-002267- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Miscellaneous- Loss Prevention called to report a theft. He stated that a shoplifter had attempted to steal items and had previously been criminally trespassed. After watching video footage, it was determined that the party did not attempt to steal any merchandise. Furthermore, it was discovered that he had not been criminally trespassed.
No Number Assigned- 3600 BLK Fountain Ave- Citizen Assist- Police assisted an elderly lady to get her broken down vehicle running.
24-002274- 5400 BLK of Ringgold Road- AOA/CPR- The caller advised an elderly female was unconscious on the sidewalk. On scene officers started CPR. The patient was transported to the hospital with CPR in progress.
Night Shift February 22
24-002287 – Frawley Road / St Thomas Street – Harassment – A party called police to report he is being harassed by a recent acquaintance with threatening phone calls and texts. He refused to cooperate with the police and indicated he was extremely paranoid, accusing the officers of criminal impersonation.
24-002288 – 1600 BLK Springvale Road – Unconscious Person – Police received a call of a man unconscious in the woods of Springvale Park. Upon police arrival, the man was found to be napping.
24-002292 – 4145 Ringgold Road – Shots Fired – The caller advised that they heard approximately two gunshots. Police searched the area, and nothing was located.
24-002297 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Public Intoxication – Police responded to a wellness check and discovered the subject to be heavily intoxicated. The man was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself and was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-002302 / 24-002303 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/Narcotics – Following a traffic stop on a vehicle with an improperly displayed license plate, a man and woman were taken into custody. The man was found to have a warrant out of East Ridge for theft. The woman was found to have multiple warrants out of Tennessee and Georgia. She was also subsequently charged with criminal impersonation, tampering with evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, contraband in penal institutions, possession of schedule II, and possession of methamphetamine.
24-002305 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Intoxicated Person – Police contacted a man who was intoxicated. He was taken into custody for public intoxication and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-002310 – 6000 BLK Ringgold Road – Harassment – Two residents of the hotel called 911 three times to report a harassment by a recent acquaintance. Police determined the reports were unfounded and warned both parties to stop calling 911 or they would be arrested for misuse of 911.
