Day Shift December 26: Bravo Squad
24-016077 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Found Missing Juvenile – Police located a missing juvenile. The juvenile was transported to Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center on a runaway petition, awaiting a Sullivan County caseworker.
24-016082 – 1600 BLK Glowmont Dr – Auto Theft – A woman reported her ex-boyfriend took her vehicle on 12/24. Police recovered the vehicle on Market St. The victim wished to prosecute. A theft warrant is being sought.
Night Shift December 26: Delta Squad
24-016086 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police responded to a delayed disorder at the parking lot of the hotel after a jealous husband caught his wife riding in another man’s car. Patrol concluded the investigation and submitted an incident report.
24-016092 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Harassment – Police responded to allegations of harassment after an angry separated spouse threatened to call the police on his wife. The RP stated she did not feel threatened.
24-016093-700 BLK S. Germantown Rd.-Disorder – Police observed a male walking down the sidewalk and a female in a vehicle following the male yelling at each other. The officer spoke with both parties, who advised that they were arguing. The male began walking, and the female followed. Both parties were checked for warrants and sent on their way.
24-016095- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Traffic Stop/DUI – Police observed a driver huffing nitric oxide from a balloon as they approached a stopped vehicle. The driver initially refused to exit the vehicle and continued to huff air from the balloon. Once she complied with the officer’s instructions, she was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. Two canisters of “Whip It” (Nitric Oxide) gas was seized.
24-016097-3200 BLK Ringgold Rd.-Suspicious Vehicle – While handling a separate call, the store manager advised police of a vehicle parked in the back. Police contacted the vehicle and its driver. The driver was checked for warrants and sent on his way.
24-014104-500 BLK S Seminole-MVC No Injuries/DUI Arrest – A man was taken into custody for driving under the influence, underage consumption, and driving without a license after he hit a utility pole.
