Day Shift December 21
23-016100 – 6100 BLK Shallowford Road – Warrant Service – A man was arrested on outstanding East Ridge Warrants.
23-016090 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road Apt #163 – Stolen Auto – The caller reported her son’s 2014 black Ford Escape was stolen at approximately 0700hrs while she left it warming up in the parking lot. According to the caller, the keys were not left in the vehicle, and it was secured. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.
23-016105 – 200 BLK Eads Street– Warrant Service – A man was arrested at his residence for a forfeiture capias and then transported to the Hamilton County Jail for booking.
Night Shift December 21
23-016124 – 5500 Blk Ringgold Rd. – Traffic Stop / Stolen Firearm Recovery – Police conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle speeding and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. A consensual search of the vehicle yielded the recovery of a stolen Ruger handgun. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without further incident. The firearm was removed from NCIC.\
23-016119 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Suspicious activity – The management reported that two males, wearing ski masks, attempted to take a statue out of the lobby. The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the area in a maroon Dodge Ram with no license plate displayed.
23-016129 – 3600 BLK Anderson Ave – Auto Theft – Police responded to this address after a blue 2020 Kia Forte was reported stolen. A silver 2019 Kia Forte was also damaged in an apparent theft attempt. The blue 2020 Kia Forte was entered into NCIC as stolen.
23-016131 – 3700 BLK Fountain Ave – Felony Evading – While responding to an auto theft on Anderson Ave, police observed a vehicle matching the stolen vehicle description in the parking lot of a different set of apartments. Police then observed a white sedan (possibly a Kia Optima) and a blue SUV (possibly a Hyundai Tuscan) traveling with the suspect vehicle. Police initiated a traffic stop and all three vehicles fled the area. Another responding unit observed the vehicles traveling north on Belvoir Ave, then west on Brainerd Road. The fleeing vehicle information was BOLO’d to CPD and HCSO. No suspects were identified.
Day Shift December 22
23-016135- 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- Auto Theft- The caller advised sometime during the night an unknown suspect took his 2016 Hyundai Tucson. The vehicle entered NCIC.
23-016138, 23-016140, 23-016141- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Vehicle Burglary- There were several vehicles entered around 0230 this morning. The two male suspects are currently unknown.
23-016139- 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue- Vehicle Burglary- Police observed the rear driver side window of the victim’s black 2011 Kia Optima had been broken out. He advised he last noticed the window intact at around 2230 on 12/21/2023. He also advised a white iPhone 8 plus had been taken out of the vehicle.
23-016142- 5700 BLK Ringgold Road- Vandalism- The victim advised at 0142 hours on 12/22/2023, a male came into the laundry mat and damaged the drainpipe on a machine. He showed officers video footage of the suspect breaking into the back of the machine. The suspect appeared to access the rear of the washing machines to collect loose change.
23-016127- 3715 Ringgold Road- Burglary- On arrival police spoke with the RP who stated he is working as a caretaker. He advised a couple months ago he had contacted police on a similar matter of theft from the building. He advised today he noticed more wires had been removed. The suspect(s) stripped approximately $100,000 worth of wire from the building. Police observed a hole in the ceiling and a large piece of rope hanging down where it appeared someone had made entry. No security camera footage or surveillance footage is available.
Night Shift December 22
23-016183 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Field Interview – Police located an intoxicated male displaying his rear at this location while exiting a vehicle. Police identified all three subjects in the vehicle and advised them to return to their apartment for the evening. Field interviews were completed.
Day Shift December 23
23-016129- 3600 BLK Anderson Avenue- Stolen Vehicle Recovery- Police received a call from dispatch in reference to a stolen vehicle being recovered by Chattanooga Police Department on North Hawthorne. The vehicle recovered, a 2020 Blue Kia Forte, was damaged and had the back window smashed out. Police and dispatch attempted to contact the owners via phone, several times going to voice mail, with negative results. The vehicle was towed and removed from NCIC.
23-016194- 1500 BLK Prater Road- Residential Fire- Police responded to a residential kitchen fire with ERFD. On scene officers assisted with the removal of the occupants.
Night Shift December 23
23-016210 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder/Warrant Service – Police responded for a disorder. According to witnesses, a woman had assaulted a man by smacking him in the face and hit another man with her vehicle while leaving the scene. She arrived back on scene when police arrived and, while running her name through dispatch, showed a verified warrant out of Hamilton County for domestic assault. Both victims denied pressing charges at this time, and the woman was transported to The Hamilton County Jail with no issues.
23-016240 – 5400 BLK Connell St – Auto Theft – Police responded to this location for an auto theft complaint. The victim stated she noticed her vehicle missing after having previously started it up. Her vehicle is a Chevrolet Suburban and was recovered after a pursuit. Police provided a courtesy transport, and she recovered her vehicle from 6901 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN. 23-016241 – 300 BLK East View Drive – Domestic Assault – A man was arrested for Domestic Assault against his wife. He was transported to jail without incident.
23-016242 – Brainerd Rd/Eastgate Loop – Auto Theft-Recovery – Police spotted a vehicle matching the description from Case Number 23-016240 travelling on Spring Creek Rd towards North Terrace and identified it as the stolen vehicle from Connell St. Two juvenile males were found in possession of the vehicle and transported to JDU on charges of evading and theft of property. The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.
Day Shift December 24
23-016244- 3741 Ringgold Rd- DUI Arrest – Police responded to the above address in reference to an unconscious male behind the wheel in the parking lot. Police conducted SFSTs. He failed the SFSTs and was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift December 24
No Case Number – 2105 Dabney Drive – Brush Fire – I small brush fire occurred at the church. Witnesses stated to the police that they heard a loud boom and teenagers fleeing the scene. Fire Personnel inspected the burn and determined the cause was fireworks. An elderly neighbor with a shovel contained the fire before emergency personnel had arrived.
23-016257 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder – Police responded to this location for a disorder. A woman was criminally trespassed from this location after causing a disturbance with the staff due to the business closing early. Nothing further.
23-016259 – 800 BLK Darryl Lane – Miscellaneous Complaint – The caller told police her neighbor was putting cockroaches under her crawl space and moving her garbage can. She had no evidence to substantiate her claims. She told police her son would be installing a doorbell camera.

23-016302 – 4300 BLK Fountain Avenue – Harassment – The caller reported an unknown party was sending him threatening text messages.
Night Shift December 25
23-016325 – 300 BLK Frawley Road – Traffic Stop/DUI – Following a traffic stop at this location a man was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
23-016323 – 1300 BLK Sewanee Drive – Shots Fired – A resident reported hearing two gunshots near the intersection of Sewanee Drive and Ringgold Road. A police officer near the area also heard a noise resembling gunshots. Several police units responded to the area, but nothing was located.
