Day Shift December 14
23-015762- 6700 BLK Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Vehicle- Police were called out for a suspicious vehicle with Texas plates and having the word “POOP” on it. The caller stated the vehicle was a “mule” vehicle. Police contacted the driver who stated that he worked for a company that picked up dog feces. Police visually saw the vehicle loaded down with dog feces.
23-015770- 1520 Merill Street- Vandalism- The victim reported that two juvenile males entered her property and destroyed a Christmas Yard decoration valued at $100 and fled the scene. The juvenile male that tackled Santa Claus inflatable dropped a debit card with a name displayed. Card is entered into Property and Evidence; coal is being loaded for stockings.
23-014381 – 1400 BLK N Mack Smith Rd Rm 1109- Warrant Service – A woman was arrested on three outstanding warrants for forgery, passing worthless checks, and theft.
23-015760 – Auto Theft – 6500 BLK- Ringgold Rd- The victim called in to report letting a woman borrow her 2009 Honda Accord. The suspect had failed to return it despite multiple attempts to get the vehicle back. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.
Night Shift December 14
No Number Assigned – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police were dispatched to the area of the overpass in reference to a male subject acting unusual. Police located the man, again, after having numerous contacts with him already. He seemed to be having mental health issues but advised he was going to a motel for the evening.
No Case Number Assigned – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Unconscious Person – Police responded for a male appearing to be unconscious in his vehicle. Upon arrival the party in question was found to be asleep.
23-015779 – 4800 BLK Fike Drive – Aggressive Animal – A woman was walking her pit mix dog when it became agitated at a neighbor’s dog, escaped from the owner, and bit the other dog causing it to bleed from its rear end. Animal Control responded and documented the incident.
23-015780 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop, police took a woman into custody on a warrant out of Session Court. She was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-015787 – 500 BLK S Sweetbriar Ave– Traffic Stop – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an improper display violation. Following the encounter, a woman was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of Criminal Court. She was further charged with possession of meth, possession of oxycodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23-015794 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Domestic Disorder – A woman called 911 after she and her daughter had an argument. The daughter told police her mother refused her medication. Mom was visibly intoxicated. Both parties agreed to stop arguing and sleep.
