Day Shift December 27
23-016397- 700 BLK State Line Road- Disorder- On arrival police spoke with a man who told police he and his cousin had gotten into a physical altercation inside the residence. One took a silver Phoenix Arms .22 Long Rifle Handgun from the other and gave it to a third party to hide. The RP told police he wanted to give the firearm up to police because he suffers with depression and has had suicidal ideations in the past. Police could not determine a primary aggressor and determined the altercation to be mutual combatants. The cousin left the residence and the RP went back inside. The firearm was later discovered to have been reported stolen out of Chattanooga back in 2000. Police attempted to locate the owner with no success. The Firearm was placed into East Ridge property and evidence and taken out of NCIC.
23-016391- 600 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised a Nissan SUV was driving in circles in the area. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the driver. He advised he was looking for his job site.
223-016393- 3100 BLK Ellis Avenue- Suspicious Vehicle- The caller advised of a vehicle at this location running with the lights on. On scene the vehicle was found to be registered to this address.
23-016396- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder- Officers spoke with a newly married couple who were involved in a verbal dispute. The parties agreed to separate for a cooling down period.
23-016409- 1200 BLK South Seminole Drive- AOA Warrant Service- A man was detained and transported to jail following a disorder call at this address.
Night Shift December 27
23-016422 – 500 BLK S Lovell Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Neighbors reported a vehicle with three parties stopped at a vacant home, get out and walk around the yard. No sign of disturbance to the home was located. The homeowner’s description gave the police the impression everything was in order, and it was possibly contractors visiting.
23-016429 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic/Arrest – A man was arrested on Possession of Sched VI felony, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a traffic stop.
23-016430 – 5000 BLK S Terrace – Suspicious Vehicle/Theft – While patrolling the area officers observed a yellow box trucked backed in at the rear of the business. Officers contacted two parties, a male juvenile, and an adult male. Both parties were taken into custody following the encounter after attempting to steal the oil/grease from the business.
