Day Shift December 20
24-015865 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft- Police spoke with a woman who stated that her clothing was stolen from the coin laundry. The last time she saw it was on 12/18/2024 when she left because she was going to work. She stated the clothing was from Goodwill and was worth approximately twenty dollars. No suspect has been identified at this time.
24-015867 – 700 BLK Germantown Circle – Intoxicated Party/Medical – Police were informed of a male who looked disoriented walking around his vehicle. When officers spoke with the party, he seemed to be having medical issues and had EMS check him. Police also suggested the party not drive for the day until he feels well.
24-015855-6700 BLK Ringgold Road-Theft – The caller reported that her Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone was stolen from the gas station sometime in the early morning hours.
Night Shift December 20
24-015891 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Vehicle Pursuit / Arrest – Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for suspicion of DUI after the vehicle failed to maintain its lane and was driving with no lights on. While officers ran the driver through dispatch, the vehicle fled South into Catoosa County before eventually coming back into East Ridge. Spike strips were successfully deployed in the 4200 block of Ringgold Road. The vehicle eventually came to a stop in the 800 block of South Germantown Road where the driver and passenger were taken into custody.
24-015879 – 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road – Suspicious Vehicle – The residence was added to the watchlist for additional patrols after a suspicious vehicle was observed parked on the street in front of the home for several minutes. Watchlist 24-000034.
Day Shift December 21
24-015896-900 BLK S Seminole DR -Theft – A caller told Police an unknown subject had stolen clothing out of her vehicle and had made entry into her apartment and taken her prescription Valium medication. No suspect information could be provided, report on file.
24-015893- 5500 BLK Ringgold RD- Disorder Prevention – Management called police to remove a homeless man sleeping inside the business to escape the elements. The man was issued a criminal trespass warning and left without incident.
Night Shift December 21
24-015910 – 1500 BLK Fruitland Drive – CPR in Progress / Arrest – A party was transported to Parkridge East ER after experiencing an unknown medical emergency. A man at the residence was arrested for violating an order of protection when he was discovered inside the victim’s home; he said he and the patient had been smoking marijuana together.
24-015917-1600 BLK John Ross Rd-MVC No Injuries/Property Damage – Police responded to a crash where a vehicle lost control and struck a mailbox and a power pole, causing a small power outage. EPB was contacted to restore the power, and the vehicle was towed.
24-015923 – 1400 BLK Greens Lake Road – Additional Patrol – Police conducted additional patrols of the 1400 BLK Greenslake Road and the surrounding area.
Day Shift December 22
24-015937 – 900 BLK S Seminole- Mentally Disturbed – Police spoke with the reporting party who stated she had someone enter her residence and place Xanax into her Dr. Pepper bottle. No evidence was provided to the police and she returned to her residence.
24-015938- 1400 BLK ST Thomas Street- Harassment – A woman reported to Police that she had found a letter on her vehicle saying, “Merry Christmas and see you next time.” She also stated the man had made inappropriate comments towards her children. She believes he was also responsible for dumping cat food on her porch, report on file.
Night Shift December 22
24-015950 – 5300 BLK Spriggs Street – Domestic Assault – A man was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Assault after he struck adult son in the head with a liquor bottle. He was also charged with Assault on Law Enforcement after he kicked an officer in the groin.
24-015954 – 900 BLK S Seminole Dr – Mentally Disturbed – The resident called in (again) stating her neighbor was eating her cat and abusing it. ERPD contacted the neighbor who stated he did not have the cat. ERPD has responded to this address multiple times for similar psychological episodes.
