Day Shift December 18
24-015786- 1300 BLK Spring Creek- Disorder – Police responded to this location because a party refused to leave his mother’s home. Officers spoke with the man who agreed to leave. He was advised of a criminal trespass warning.
24-015788 – 1600 BLK Key West Avenue – Disorder – A man called the police after his roommate kicked him out of their shared residence. The occupant reluctantly answered the door after police advised he could be charged with Theft of Property. The caller moved his belongings out without incident.
24-015789-6500 BLK Ringgold RD- Roadway Hazard – Police responded to the 6500 block of Ringgold Road on reports of nails in the roadway. Witnesses advised they saw a white Chevy run a light and a bucket of nails fall from the back of the truck. Officers temporarily blocked eastbound traffic while parties worked to remove the nails from the roadway.
24-015791 – 3600 BLK Gleason Drive – Well-Being Check – Police were dispatched to this residence to check the well-being of a party who recently had surgery. There was no response to door knocks. Officers informed the reporting party of their findings.
Night Shift December 18
24-015820 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity / Arrest – Police observed a white vehicle in a parking lot of a closed business and attempted to contact the vehicle occupants. As officers approached it, the vehicle left the scene and went into a nearby apartment complex. Police located the vehicle and identified the driver. Police then observed him to be in possession of 17.7g of Marijuana placed in multiple bags for resale along with a scale. The suspect was placed into custody for Possession of Marijuana for Resale and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-015677 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A man turned himself into the Hamilton County Jail for three outstanding arrest warrants through East Ridge. The charges on the warrants were Aggravated Domestic Assault, Aggravated Child Endangerment, and Aggravated Assault.
24-015800 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Fight / Arrest – Police responded to a disorder and found that a woman and a juvenile female had a physical altercation in the store. Police determined the altercation was mutual combat with both individuals antagonizing the other. A juvenile summons for Disorderly Conduct was submitted for the female. The adult was issued a Misdemeanor Citation in Lieu of Arrest for the same charge.
24-015807 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Assault – Police responded to the hospital for a delayed assault report. The victim stated a known male party assaulted her earlier in the day at a local hotel. Police found no marks or other evidence to substantiate the claim. She was advised on the procedures to obtain a Temporary Protection Order.
24-015809 – 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road – Public Intoxication / Arrest – Officers responded to an Unconscious Person complaint at a hotel. On the 3rd floor, Police located an intoxicated male lying in the hallway. The man was identified and arrested for Public Intoxication. Police later determined he was not a guest at the hotel.
24-015810 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – Intoxicated Person – Employees reported an intoxicated 60-year-old male left the area in a gray Nissan 350Z. The employees attempted to stop the male from leaving and offered to call him an Uber. According to the employees, the male ran out of the building then quickly sped away in his vehicle. Police checked the area for the vehicle, but it was not located. A BOLO message was sent to the surrounding jurisdictions.
24-015817 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Police stopped a Honda Fit after it was observed swerving between lanes. Following Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, she was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
24-015818 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity – Police conducted a consensual encounter with a Hummer SUV. The officer noted several irregularities with the GA Temporary Tag on the vehicle and discussed the issue with the driver. Report on File.
