Day Shift December 15
23-015814 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Assault/Disorder – Police responded after a juvenile called 9-1-1 and stated she was about to be assaulted by a group of females. While officers were enroute to the call, it was upgraded to a fight. On scene, it was found the 14-year-old deployed pepper spray after being confronted by several juvenile females in the parking lot of the gas station. A 17-year-old female was taken into custody for instigating and continuing an assault of the 14-year-old.
23-015799 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant – A man was arrested on outstanding East Ridge Warrants at the Hamilton County Jail.
23-015804 – 1510 Maxwell Road – Fraud – The victim had 2 checks stolen altered and cashed after dropped them off at the Post Office in the outdoor drop box.
23-015795 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Check the Well-being – A man called dispatch to report his son had texted him a picture of his face bleeding and stating he had been assaulted by some gang members at a residence in East Ridge. When the original call came in at 0300hrs, officers checked the area where his phone was located but he was not found. While officers were on scene for another call, they located him texting his father. He had dried blood on his face and advised while he was at a residence on Village Lake Circle, a male threw a picture frame at him and cut his head. The party denied EMS or to prosecute the suspect and appeared to be in his right mind. He was allowed to leave. A short time later, the original RP called advising his son had expressed suicidal ideations in the past. Police attempted to locate him to no avail.
23-015800 – 1500 BLK S. Mack Smith Road – Assist ERAS – Police responded with East Ridge Animal Services and Codes Enforcement while they conducted animal and property violations investigations. No contact was made with the residents and the police returned to service.
Night Shift December 15
23-015844 – 1700 BLK Keeble Street – Warrant Service / FI – Police observed two males walking in the roadway at 0124 hours. One was found to have 31 active warrants out of Catoosa County for breaking and entering automobiles. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. A 15-year-old was also there and was released to the custody of his parents. FI was completed 23-000130.
23-015838 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop/ Warrant Service – Police observed a Black Honda Fit miss the stop line at the intersection of Keeble St and Stateline Rd. Upon seeing further violations, a traffic stop was conducted. A K9 hit on the vehicle which produced multiple paraphernalia items in the possession of two occupants. Another was found to have active Probation warrants out of Walker County. He was transported to jail without incident.
23-015841 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder – Police were dispatched to a domestic in progress. The caller advised that a male was hitting a female in her car. On arrival police observed the male, down the road walking and he was detained. The woman advised that her boyfriend was mad, but he never struck her. Due to observing no injuries and the woman refusing cooperation the man was released.
23-015826 – 1000 BLK Justine Lane – Assist Other Agency – The East Ridge Police assisted the Rockwell Police Department (Massachusetts) by attempting to locate a party. A Mexico Consular ID was found in Rockwell, Massachusetts with an address on Justine Lane. Police went to the address and found a vehicle registered to a male with the same last name. However, no one was found at the residence.
Day Shift December 16
23-015874 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Shoplifter – A man was issued a misdemeanor citation for shoplifting and a criminal trespass notice after he was observed by a loss prevention associate concealing approximately $200 worth of merchandise on his person.
23-015859 – 4100 BLK Cemetery Road – Disorder with a Weapon – Police were dispatched to this location regarding a disorder with a weapon. The reporting party stated the suspect was outside of her sister’s apartment and had a gun. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the female driver of the suspect vehicle. The driver refused to comply with police commands and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. Warrants pending identification of the driver.
23-015850 – 3400 Gail Drive – Aggravated Assault – An argument between three people turned into an Aggravated Assault when one was bumped and dragged by a vehicle driven by another. Warrants have been sought.
23-015857 – 3400 Gail Drive – Disorder with a Weapon – Officers were dispatched back to Gail drive on report of a disorder involving a firearm. The weapon was not located but one suspect was. He was arrested on Hamilton County warrants and transported to the jail.
23-015824 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive Apt– Warrant Service – A man was taken into custody on an East Ridge warrant for Harassment (from previous, numerous harassing phone calls). He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.
Night Shift December 16
23-015917 – 4300 BLK Spriggs Street– Auto Theft – The caller reported her 2013 white Kia Optima was stolen from her driveway. The keys were not with the vehicle and the suspect was unknown. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.
23-015887 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Disorder – Police responded to this location regarding a verbal disorder amongst two neighbors. Both parties agreed to remain without contact and were advised to notify police if any further incident were to occur.
Day Shift December 17
23-015925 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Aggravated Burglary/Assault – The suspect forced entry into the residence of his ex-girlfriend and assaulted her and another male with brass knuckles. He had also broken a window on the victim’s vehicle. Warrants are being sought for two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated burglary, and vandalism.
23-015929 – 1400 BLK St. Thomas St – Disorder – Police responded after employees reported a guest refusing to leave. Officers spoke with both parties who were in a dispute over the billing. The guest advised he would seek a new motel to patronize.
23-015933 – 6800 BLK Ringgold Rd – Mental Health Consumer – Police responded to this location after several callers reported a male party convulsing on the side of the road. Officers encountered the man who appeared to be staring at and conversing with a crosswalk post. While attempting to communicate, he appeared to be so disassociated with reality that police believed his safety was at risk. He was then placed into protective custody and transported for a mental health evaluation.
Night Shift December 17
23-015938 – 1000 BLK Hibbler Circle – Suspicious Activity – The caller expressed concerns with unknown people staying around her home. Police checked the premises and found nothing out of the ordinary.
23-015954 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Vehicle – While doing a park & walk at the motel, police observed a damaged vehicle parked halfway in the road on Old Ringgold Rd. During the investigation, the driver was found to be revoked indefinitely and the tag did not belong to the vehicle. The tag was seized, and the driver was advised he could not drive from this location.
23-015947 – 800 BLK Mchann Drive – Burglary in progress – Police responded to this address for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, police determined that the juvenile resident left the door unlocked when leaving.
Day Shift December 18
23-015975- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- The caller advised two males jumped into his 2003 Toyota Camry and took it. The vehicle was last observed traveling west on Ringgold Road. The vehicle was entered in NCIC.
23-015961- 5300 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a homeless male sleeping on the sidewalk. On scene police spoke with the male. He was advised to move along.
23-015962- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Suspicious Person- The caller advised of a homeless male in the lot bothering customers. On scene the male was asked to leave and issued a criminal trespass warning.
Night Shift December 18
23-015969 – 900 BLK Belvoir Avenue – Search Warrant-Execution – Two subjects were located during a search warrant and arrested on East Ridge warrants.
23-015975- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road- Auto Theft- The caller advised two males jumped into his 2003 Toyota Camry and took it. The vehicle was last observed traveling west on Ringgold Road. The vehicle was entered in NCIC.
23-015996 – 3400 BLK Shadowlawn Drive – Auto Theft-Recovery – Police conducted a traffic stop on a black jeep with South Dakota tags after receiving a license plate reader hit. Police located the vehicle in the 1100 block of S Seminole Drive and conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Shadowlawn Drive. The driver was taken into custody without incident; the vehicle was confirmed to be stolen.
23-015999 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Officer Safety – Person unknown called to report someone will “come shoot up the police department and kill himself.” More information is on the miscellaneous report.
23-016000 – 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road – Intoxicated Party – Police arrested a man after being called out for what was initially a burglary attempt complaint. He was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and resisting stop, halt, frisk.
23-016004 – 700 BLK Haven Hill Drive – Unconscious Person – Police responded and found a woman in a vehicle unconscious. Police administered one Narcan and she became conscious a short time later. Officers ran both parties through dispatch and her male companion was found to have verified warrants out of Hamilton County for failure to appear and vandalism. The man was transported to The Hamilton County Jail with no issues, and the female was transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.
23-016012 – 3700 BLK Fountain Ave – Auto Theft Recovery – While on a park and walk at the apartments officers located two stolen vehicles. The first vehicle was a white Volkswagen and the second a gray Hyundai Elantra. The owner for the Volkswagen advised the Gray Hyundai was used during the theft of their vehicle. Both owners were notified where their vehicles were located. Both vehicles were removed from NCIC and released to their owners.
