Day Shift December 13
24-015579 – 1500 BLK Burns Avenue – Commercial Fire – Police responded or a reported fire. Upon arrival, the police observed smoke and fumes. Officers closed the roads, restricting access, while ERFD extinguished the fire.
24-015580 – 6900 BLK Ringgold Road – Miscellaneous/Property Damage – The caller reported the rear window on his 2023 Nissan Rogue shattered while driving westbound on Ringgold Rd at the state line. He heard a loud “pop” and then the window shattered. Originally, the caller thought a projectile was fired at the vehicle, however, no such item was located.
24-015588 – 3400 BLK Navajo Drive – Theft – Police were called to investigate the theft of a product. The office manager said five vials of Botox, estimated value $3,000, were stolen within the last week. No suspect information was able to be provided.
24-015598-1400 BLK St. Thomas St.- Well Being Check – Police responded at the request of Crisis Response. Officers attempted to speak with a man located inside a motel room. He was found to be a manic paranoid schizophrenic and suffering from delusions. He refused to come out of the room. The crisis center sent police 6401 paperwork for the party. Officers requested Fire’s assistance in entering the room. The man was taken into protective custody and transported to the hospital.
24-015599- 5800 BLK Ringgold Rd- Auto Theft – Police responded to U-Haul for reports of a trailer theft. The manager advised that between 1900 12/12/24 and 0700 12/13/24 one of their trailers had been stolen. He was unable to provide Police with recordings of the back lot where the trailer was taken from. He did provide VIN and tag information. The trailer was entered into NCIC as stolen.
24-015603 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Theft – Police responded to an apartment on call of a reported silverware theft. Upon arrival, the party stated that a neighbor stole her silverware while she was out checking the mail. No evidence of theft was found.
Night Shift December 13
24-015619 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Police observed a white Ford F-250 driving very close to the curb, wait two minutes before entering the clear intersection, then drive past with very dark tint. Police initiated a traffic stop in the 600 block of Camp Jordan Road. The driver was determined to be intoxicated and admitted to police that he had 1.5 pitchers of beer at one establishment before having two more beers at another. He was taken into custody for DUI and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Day Shift December 14
24-015627 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Well-Being Check – A neighbor stated he had not seen any of the occupants of this residence for several weeks and was concerned for their well-being. ERPD contacted the resident, who had been asleep, but otherwise alive and well.
24-015628 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Road – Burglary Attempt – Police responded to investigate a burglary attempt around midnight Saturday morning. Police observed a broken plexiglass window and a broken sliding door hardware. The business owner did not capture any surveillance images of the suspect and said that nothing appeared to have been stolen. The owner requested to be added to the watchlist.
24-015633 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road– Shoplifting/Warrant Arrest – A man was arrested for Shoplifting and County Warrants.
Night Shift December 14
24-015639 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder/Arrest – Police responded to the motel for a party refusing to leave. The party attempted to walk away from officers and began to resist arrest. During the struggle, an officer was kicked in the face leaving a small abrasion. The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Jail and charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, resisting stop, halt, frisk, arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer, and public indecency.
24-015644 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Auto Theft – A caller reported her friend took her car without permission. The party advised she did not wish to press charges. Other witnesses advised she loaned the car to the alleged suspect and when asked, the RP would not answer if she allowed the suspect to borrow the vehicle. It was also discovered the reporting party had consumed Methamphetamine an hour prior to the report. The party was advised to sober up before reporting the incident again. No further action was taken.
No Case Number Assigned – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Reckless Driver – Police observed a black Volkswagen Golf hatchback traveling eastbound on Ringgold Road without a registration plate. Police fell in behind the vehicle. The vehicle made several lane changes before traveling into on-coming traffic and running a red light traveling at a high rate of speed in an apparent attempt to elude a stop. Police did not attempt to stop the vehicle. The incident was BOLO’d to surrounding agencies.
No Case Number Assigned – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Speeding / Reckless Driving – Police observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Ringgold Road at 77 miles-per-hour. Police conducted a U-turn and attempted to catch up to the vehicle. Police were unable to catch up with the vehicle before it entered Catoosa County, GA. The vehicle was BOLO’d to the appropriate agencies.
24-015643 – 300 BLK Frawley Road – Residential Alarm
Day Shift December 15
24-015664 – 4200 BLK Bennett Road – CPR-In-Progress – Police responded to this address after the caller reported they found their elderly family member non-responsive and not breathing. Officers and ERFD attempted life-saving measures until Hamilton County EMS arrived and transported the patient to the hospital.
24-015667 – 1600 BLK Heather Street – Auto Theft – The victim advised he parked his silver 2007 Lexus IS350 in front of this residence at approximately 0130hrs and upon his return at 0530hrs, it was missing. A review of the LPR system showed the vehicle traveling in the 6200 block of Ringgold Rd at approximately 0228hrs. He said he did not know who would have the vehicle and he had the only keys to it. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.
24-015672 – 700 BLK Belvoir Avenue – CPR in Progress / Assist EMS – Police responded to this address for an unconscious male. Upon police & fire arrival the man regained consciousness but was suffering from the effects of having a seizure. EMS transported.
Night Shift December 15
24-015677 – 1300 BLK Adonna Lane – Domestic Assault – A woman reported that she and her ex-boyfriend had verbal argument that escalated to him assaulting her. She alleged the suspect then pointed a handgun at her, their daughter, and her boyfriend. The suspect left the scene prior to the arrival of the police. Officers are seeking warrants for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Domestic Assault, and Aggravated Child Endangerment.
24-015687 – 3600 BLK Ida Belle Lane – Domestic Disorder / Arrest – Police responded to a domestic disorder and found a woman refusing to leave her ex-boyfriend’s home. Following a brief altercation with police, she was taken into custody and placed in a police vehicle. She then slipped out of her handcuffs and threw the restraints at police officers. She was again handcuffed a second time and transported to the Hamilton County Jail. The subject was charged with Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, and Escape.
24-015676 – 500 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Intoxicated Persons – Management reported the use of illicit narcotics by two intoxicated customers at their restaurant. Police met with the two suspects and a consensual search yielded no narcotics or contraband. The individuals agreed to leave the restaurant under the care of a designated driver.
24-015681 – 1200 BLK John Ross Road – Motor Vehicle Crash / Rollover – A homeowner reported a white SUV crashed and rolled over in his yard. Police responded to the scene and determined that the driver lost control of his vehicle in the rainy conditions. The driver was treated on scene by EMS and refused further medical treatment. No evidence of alcohol or drug use was observed.
Day Shift December 16
24-015697-4200 BLK Spriggs Street-Citizen Well Being Check – Officers went to the listed address to check on the homeowner as he was not responding to his friends’ calls and would not come to the door. Police and Fire were able to make entry to the residence and found the man on the couch, disorientated and unresponsive, Hamilton County EMS was called to the scene and transported the man for treatment.
24-015701-1400 BLK Mack Smith Road-Unconscious Person – Police responded to the inn on a report of an unconscious individual found in one of the rooms. The party was found unresponsive and appeared to be having a medical emergency. No signs of narcotics use were observed. Hamilton County EMS transported the patient for treatment.
No number assigned – 24 WB & 75 NB – Assist Other Agency – At the request of Chattanooga Police, ERPD Investigators assisted Chattanooga Police in attempting to stop a possible stolen vehicle. Upon activating the emergency equipment, the vehicle fled from police at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later located at an apartment complex in Chattanooga and confirmed to be stolen out of Nashville.
Night Shift December 16
24-015713 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Rd – Trespass – Motel management reported a woman was dropped off at the motel whom they didn’t want on the property. She claimed her husband left her after an argument. Management confirmed she had a room but preferred she be removed due to a prior arrest. The woman had a bleeding forehead cut and was slurring her words. Her daughter couldn’t pick her up. EMS transported her for treatment.
24-015717 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Auto Theft – A party reported her 2012 Ford Explorer stolen, suspecting someone named “Juice” took it on 12-14-2024. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.
24-015718 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Rd – Public Intoxication – A man was arrested for public intoxication, possession of legend drugs, simple possession, and drug paraphernalia. He also had burglary warrants. The subject was transported to the Hamilton County Jail, and his belongings were placed in the property room.
