Day Shift December 10
24-015477- 1300 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Disorder – Police responded to a potential fight in progress. Upon arrival, police determined no fighting had occurred. Three or four people were engaged in a verbal argument over the food pantry. The parties agreed to separate and cause no further issues
Night Shift December 10
24-015496 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway – LPR Hit / Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Following an LPR hit, police checked the Camp Jordan area for a black Honda Odyssey that was stolen out of East Ridge. Police located the vehicle as it turned onto the kayak launch access road. The stolen vehicle accelerated down the road as police attempted to catch up with it. Officers then found the stolen vehicle abandoned near the launch parking lot. A perimeter was established, and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deployed a drone team to assist in the search. Despite those efforts, police did not locate the suspect, and the identity of the driver is unknown. The Vehicle was removed from NCIC and returned to the owner.
24-015484 – 4900 BLK Brainerd Road – Suicidal Threats / Mentally Disturbed – A man contacted the 911 Dispatch Center and stated he was going to “Raise Cain” at his ex-wife’s workplace in East Ridge. Police determined that he was the subject of an earlier “Suicide by Cop” BOLO from Catoosa County, GA. Dispatch located his phone and found he was still in Ringgold, GA. Later in the day, Chattanooga Police units located him while responding to an unrelated disorder on Brainerd Road. He was taken into protective custody and transported for an evaluation and treatment.
24-015487 – 4300 BLK Duvall Street – Suspicious Person – Multiple callers reported a suspicious male walking through neighborhood ringing doorbells. Police located the suspicious person and determined he was a sales representative for a cell phone provider. The male agreed to leave the area after speaking with police.
24-015491 – 3100 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – Following a traffic stop, a party was taken into custody and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
Day Shift December 11
24-015513 – 1700 BLK East Ridge Ave – Harassment – Officers spoke with a man in response to his request to have his property added to a watch list. He advised that he has been harassed for years from an individual, and today his neighbor called and told him a blue Nissan Pathfinder pulled into his driveway and sat there. The registration returns to the individual which corroborated the RP’s story. The caller did not want this individual on his property and would like him trespassed.
24-015522 – 5900 BLK Highway 153, Academy Sports – Arrest-Warrant – A man was located at this address while purchasing a firearm. The background check revealed a warrant for Shoplifting. He was arrested and transported to 601 Justice Way for booking.
Night Shift December 11
24-015525 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting – Police responded after the manager reported a customer stole a red electric ride-on toy car. The Criminal Investigation Division was notified, and the theft is under investigation.
24-015535 – 1500 BLK Fruitland Drive – Domestic Assault – A man was arrested for domestic assault after attacking his roommate. He was intoxicated and belligerent toward police during the interview and was transported to Hamilton County Jail.
24-015543 – 3700 BLK Fountain Ave – Theft / Warrant Service – Police responded to a theft report. The caller reported that her ex-boyfriend, who had stayed to help wrap gifts, was gone when she returned from a job interview. Later, she noticed all her children’s Christmas clothes were missing and suspected the ex. During the investigation, police discovered the caller had an active warrant for assault from Hamilton County. She was arrested and transported to jail without incident.
Day Shift December 12
24-015559 – 4000 BLK Ringgold Road – Crash – An east bound 2011 Ford Escape turned into the path of a west bound 2010 Honda Accord.
24-015560 – 601 Justice Way – Warrant Service – A woman was served with an East Ridge Warrant while in the custody of the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift December 12
24-015563 – 5300 BLK Ringgold Road – Civil Matter – A man requested advice from Police regarding a problem over the appraisal and sale of Pokemon cards. Police assisted with advice.
24-015569 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A man was found in custody at Catoosa County Jail on a “hold for extradition” because of a warrant for Auto Theft through East Ridge Police Department. He will be held for extradition and then transferred to the Hamilton County Jail for his arrest.
