Day Shift December 8
23-015470- 1900 BLK Bowen Road- Theft- Police spoke with the reporting party who stated she had placed two sets of fence panels along with some stakes at the front of her yard. She stated the last time she physically saw the fence pieces were at approximately 03:48 via her Ring camera. She believes her fence was taken when her neighbor’s grill was taken out by the curb for trash. There are no suspects.
Night Shift December 8
23-015485 – 1300 BLK San His Drive – Shots Fired – The caller reported multiple shots fired in the area. Police spoke with six witnesses in the surrounding neighborhood who reported the same account. One witness stated, “it could have been a car backfire.” No shell casings were located in the area. No property damage was reported.
23-015492 – S. Seminole Drive & Bennett Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location a woman was taken into custody for driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane, and driving on suspended.
23-015498 – 5000 BLK S. Terrace – Fight – Police responded to this location for a possible fight in the parking lot of the movie theater. After further investigation, no fight took place. Both parties in question then left the scene.
Day Shift December 9
23-015514- 1123 McBrien Road- Theft- The victim reported her kayak had been stolen from the property. She advised she had last seen the kayak on 12/8/2023 at approximately 0800 hours. The kayak was a Kestrel 140, 14ft in length, lime green in color and the estimated value of the kayak is $300. There are currently no suspects.
Night Shift December 9
No Case Number – North Oak Avenue, Jasper, TN – Warrant Service-Hold – A hold was faxed to Marion County Jail to hold a man on a warrant for Forfeiture Capias (Aggravated Assault and Violation of Order of Protection).
23-015526 – Ringgold Rd / Springvale – Field Interview – A woman was riding her bicycle without a light after sunset and observed leaving Springvale Park. She told police she “stashes” her bicycle in the woods. She was released after a field interview.
23-015529 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant – A party was arrested on Petition to Revoke warrant at Hamilton County Jail on the original charge of Property Theft.
23-015539 – 1400 BLK Mana Lane– Disorder-Unknown Trouble – Police were sent for sounds of a disorder involving “the sound of knives hitting.” No problem located in apartment, nor was any swordplay afoot.
23-015541 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Civil Matter – The caller reported to police she was discriminated against by a gas station attendant for being asked to take her dog out of the store. She could not provide documentation for the service animal.
23-015543-900 BLK Spring Creek Road-Intoxicated Person/Arrest – Police responded to this location after an intoxicated person with a CON had been disorderly with hospital staff and refused treatment. Police placed the party under arrest for disorderly conduct.
23-015555 – Moore Road / Anderson Avenue – DUI – A man was arrested for DUI after failing to maintain his lane on S Moore Road. He was transported to jail without incident.
Day Shift December 10
23-015564- 6007 Welworth Avenue- Suspicious Person- Officers spoke with the RP who advised she had observed an unknown male individual walk to the front of her neighbor’s house and try to open the front gate. She advised the police he was unable to open the gate, but he did reach over and grab a package that was placed at the front door. The unknown male left the area west towards Yale Street. He was last seen wearing a blue nylon shirt and pants with a white “metal” hat. Police looked around the area, but the male was not located. The homeowner was not home to confirm if a crime had occurred.
Night Shift December 10
23-015587 – I-24 E EXIT 183 – Arrest-other (Public Intoxication) – An intoxicated twenty-year-old naked male walking down I-24 E bound at exit 184 was arrested for Reckless Endangerment, Public intoxication, Indecent Exposure, and Underage Consumption.
23-012806 – 2300 BLK Wilson Street – Arrest-Warrant – A woman was arrested on a warrant for Assault.
23-015578 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft – A man reported to police that his Glock 19 pistol was stolen from this location when he left it behind after using the men’s room. The firearm was entered into NCIC.
23-015590 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Arrest-Drugs – A man was arrested on charges of Possession of Fentanyl for Resale, Possession of Cocaine (Crack) for Resale, Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
Day Shift December 11
23-015605 – 1500 BLK Maxwell Road – Theft – Police were dispatched to speak with the victim about a check he mailed that was altered. He advised he mailed a check at the post office on Maxwell Road for $50 on 11/04/2023. On 12/08/2023, the same check was deposited in the account of “Montez Deloney” for $2,500. He advised he did not write a check for that amount, nor did he know “Deloney.” Report submitted.
23-015606 -1500 BLK Maxwell Road – Theft – The victim stated on 12/04/2023 at approximately 1730 hours he deposited a utility bill and a company check for $699.92 in the outside post box at the Post Office on Maxwell Road. He stated he received late notice from the utility and, upon further examination, realized his check had been stolen, counterfeited, altered to $5699.62, and cashed on a mobile banking app by a person he does not know.
23-015611 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person/Disorder – Police responded to a male party sleeping on the patio and refusing to leave. An officer contacted the man and advised him to vacate the area. He complied.
23-015610 – 4000 BLK Bennett Road – Vehicle Theft – A known suspect took a vehicle which was recovered in Kentucky. The vehicle is owned by a local rental company, and rented by a third party. Warrants were sought to arrest the suspect for theft and driving without a license.
Night Shift December 11
23-015655 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person – An anonymous caller stated there was male waving a gun on a dirt trail near Camp Jordan. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone.
23-015428 – 1000 BLK Floyd Drive – Narcotics Violation – Patrol assisted Crime Suppression with serving a search warrant at this residence after obtaining credible information about methamphetamine sales. Based on the search, police arrested a man for Possession of Methamphetamine for resale. A woman was arrested on related charges.
23-015652 – 1000 BLK Floyd Drive – Warrant Service – A man was arrested for an Alias Capias warrant through the City of East Ridge. The original charge was Theft of Property. He was also found to have several arrest warrants through Hamilton County.
