Day Shift December 6
24-012697 – 700 BLK Marlboro Avenue – Harassment Supplement – Police followed up on an ongoing concern involving juveniles who have been persistently harassing the resident at this location. The officers collected the names of the juveniles while they were waiting at the bus stop and provided this information to the School Resource Officer (SRO) for further action.
Night Shift December 6
24-015188 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Dispatch was contacted by Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office and advised that a man was in custody at their jail and was showing a possible warrant out of East Ridge. Officers verified the warrant and faxed a hold request to Catoosa County Jail. The original charge on the warrant was conspiracy to possess methamphetamine for resale.
24-015322 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue – Indecent Exposure – A man was arrested for indecent exposure after exposing his genitalia to a customer while repairing her clogged sink. He was cited and released with a court summons.
24-015340 – Greens lake Rd / Kingwood Dr – Traffic Stop / Warrant Service – A man was stopped on Greenslake Rd for light law violation. Dispatched notified ERPD that he had a Warrant out Criminal Court for Theft.
24-015341 – 1100 BLK Greens Lake Road – Suspicious Activity – While conducting a traffic stop on Greenslake Road near Kingwood Drive a resident approached police and exclaimed that he saw prowlers next door. Police conducted a search around the residence but saw no indications of a prowler.
Day Shift December 7
24-015354 – Ringgold Road @ Adonna Lane – Disorder – Police were dispatched to the area for a disturbance involving a cell phone and a dog. Police checked the area, and no disorder or signs of distress could be located.
Night Shift December 7
24-015356 – 3600 BLK Maiden Drive – Suspicious Activity – Police were called after children hit a ball against a neighbor’s residence and were harassing the family dog in the back yard before cussing the resident when told to leave. The children were gone when the police arrived. The complainant was advised to call back if the kids return.
24-015359 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A Forfeiture Capias warrant was served on a man while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge was theft under $1,000.
24-015360 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A Forfeiture Capias warrant was served on the same man while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge was possession of drug paraphernalia.
24-015366 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Auto Theft – Police responded to an auto theft that occurred around 6:30 pm from the driveway of a residence. The vehicle stolen was a black 2016 Nissan Maxima 4S with tinted windows and a LED brake light bar on the spoiler with intermittent missing bulbs. The vehicle was reported stolen to NCIC.
24-015371 – 1300 BLK Marlboro Avenue – Drug Overdose – Police responded to a drug overdose for a male who was found unconscious after consuming alcohol and Xanax. EMS responded and transported the patient.
24-015376 – 5500 BLK Ringgold Road – Found Property – A man flagged down police in the 5500 block of Ringgold Road. The party was holding a black plastic case that he stated fell out of the bed of a truck. Inside the case was a construction Laser Receiver. The item was placed into East Ridge Police Department property and evidence for safekeeping.
24-015381 – 1600 BLK Keeble St – Animal bite – A woman wanted to report that her teenage daughter was bitten by a dog at the above address. The juvenile stated the black pit mix lunged at her after she left the bathroom. She had two puncture wounds on the back of her right leg, two puncture wounds on her right arm, a full bite mark on her upper right arm, and two puncture wounds on her lower left arm.
24-015383 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – Police obtained information that a woman was staying at the hotel. The party had two verified warrants through Hamilton County Sessions Court. Police conducted a knock-and-talk, where she was staying. The party was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail without issue.
24-015387 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – DUI Crash – A man was arrested for DUI and License Required after he crashed his truck into a white Tesla parked in the parking lot of the motel. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift December 8
24-015392- 1600 BLK Key West Avenue – Auto Theft – Police met with a woman at the East Ridge Police Department who wanted to report that her Grey Nissan Frontier was stolen. The last time she saw the truck was around 1030 hours. The truck was listed into NCIC- V776548634, and the plate was asked to be listed as a ‘Hot Plate’ in the LPR system.
24-015400 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue – Harassment – Police met with a woman at the East Ridge Police Department in reference to harassment related to a previous case. The party reported that she had received six automated messages regarding plumbing work/schedule that were prompted by a male party. Police advised her to opt out of the automated text message service and not to respond to him. She was asked if he contacted her again to call the police. Her property was placed on the watch list.
Night Shift December 8
24-015417 – 100 BLK Fawn Dr – Shots Fired – Officers responded to reports of gunfire near Fawn Drive. After hearing additional shots, officers located the residence with two males outside and eleven people inside. Spent shell casings were found, but no firearm or shooter was identified. A Spanish speaking officer from CPD responded to aid ERPD in navigating the scene. After interviewing and identifying everyone in the home no culprit could be found. Shell casings were recovered and entered into ERPD property and evidence.
24-015406 – 4900 BLK Court Dr – Shots Fired – A resident reported hearing gunshots outside his home. No additional reports were received. Officers found no shell casings or property damage. No incident.
24-015413 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Assist Citizen/Warrant Service – Officers were dispatched for a vehicle out of gas blocking the road. The original caller falsely reported a robbery to expedite police response. The driver was found to have nine active warrants from East Ridge, including charges for aggravated assault, theft, and felony evading arrest. Crime suppression unit also seeking original charges.
24-015415 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Rd – Traffic Stop/Arrest – Officers stopped a gray Kia Sorento after observing the vehicle failing to maintain the lane. The vehicle’s Georgia registration was suspended. The driver exited the vehicle despite instructions to stay inside. Officers found empty beer bottles in the car. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to Hamilton County Jail.
Day Shift December 9
24-015424 – 3700 BLK Ringgold Road – Property – Police were called to East Ridge Animal Hospital after employees discovered their kennel fencing was damaged. Police spoke with an employee who said she reviewed video surveillance showing a white box truck hitting the fence. Police observed the video that supports the claims.
25-015425, 24-015246 – 900 BLK S. Seminole Road– Misc – Police were called numerous times to this apartment to address ongoing issues with a cat and mental health issues. Police advised her to contact the animal shelter regarding the cat and to continue taking her medication as prescribed.
24-015438 Camp Jordan Pkwy/Ringgold Rd- Suspicious Person/ Warrant Arrest – Police contacted a man who was panhandling at this location. Officers ran his information through dispatch and found he had a felony warrant for auto theft out of Walker County. He was placed into custody and transported to 601 Justice Way without incident.
Night Shift December 9
24-015542– 900 BLK Donaldson Road – Disorder with Weapon – Police responded to multiple reports of shots fired around Donaldson Road and Poindexter Avenue. On scene, a man reported an unknown person in a light blue four door sedan fired six to eight shots at this vehicle. He stated the assault was most likely due to a road rage incident that started on Germantown Road. Police found damage on his truck consistent with a small caliber firearm. Officers also located six spent 5.7 mm pistol casings and one 5.7 mm fragmented bullet on the roadway. LPR data has been checked and the investigation is on-going.
24-015447 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Stolen Vehicle / Arrest – Police received an LPR hit for a stolen Penske truck in the 6600 block of Ringgold Rd. Police located the truck and found two men in possession of the stolen vehicle. The two individuals were taken into custody and charged with Theft Over $10,000. The suspects were transported to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
24-015453 – 3500 BLK Bennett Road – Disorder / Vandalism – Police returned to this residence after a brick was thrown through a window by an unknown person. The homeowner stated there were several people who wanted to scare her, and the incident may have been related to the recent argument at her house. The homeowner could not positively identify the offender, and no suspects have been identified. No injuries were reported.
24-015459 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Traffic Stop / Assist Other Agency / Narcotics Violation – Following a traffic stop for multiple violations, a man was arrested on Hamilton County warrants for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail. At the detention facility, he was found to have a small bag of suspected marijuana concealed on his person.
CPD 24-113763 – 200 I-75 NB, near MM 2 – Assist Other Agency / MVC Rollover – Police responded to a rollover crash on the interstate. On scene, responding officers found there were no injuries, and the accident occurred in Chattanooga. ERPD officers remained on site to secure the scene and assist with traffic control until Chattanooga Police responded.
