Day Shift July 31
24-009735 – 3700 BLK Fountain Avenue – Theft – The victim reported an unknown individual entered his unlocked vehicle at some point during the night and stole a brown duffel bag containing some clothes and prescription medications. There are no suspects currently.
24-009743 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place– Disorder/Vandalism/Arrest – A man called police to report his ex-girlfriend and child’s mother damaged the rear window of his Nissan Frontier the previous evening. Both parties provided differing accounts and the RP’s accounting of the events changed, as well as his desire to prosecute for the alleged damage. As officers were verifying the parties’ information, it was found the man had valid conditions of release prohibiting him from contacting the woman. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
Night Shift July 31
24-009760- 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant service- Police served a man with an Alias Capias arrest warrant at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charge for the alias capias was Driving on a Revoked License.
24-009761 – 1400 BLK North Smith Street – Assist Other Agency – A man was taken into custody for a Hamilton County arrest warrant following a Disorder Prevention at his residence. The charge on the arrest warrant was Harassment.
24-009785 – 7609 Standifer Gap Road – Warrant service – A woman was served with two East Ridge alias capias arrest warrants at the Hamilton County Jail. The original charges were Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Day Shift August 1
24-009795 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive – Delayed Theft – An Asset Protection Clerk informed police a male wearing a black cap, black shirt, and pink shorts entered the business and took merchandise totaling up to $1,919.41. The suspect has not been identified at this time.
24-009805 – 200 BLK Eads Street – Traffic Stop/Warrant Service – Police conducted a traffic stop at this location and found the occupant had verified warrants out of Hamilton County for Probationary Capias. He was placed into custody and taken to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
Night Shift August 1
24-009812 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Disorder / Arrest – A woman reported a verbal disorder with her mother at her residence. When police arrived at the location, mom fled on foot. Police searched the area and located her hiding in a nearby exterior garage. She was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Stop Halt Frisk. The owner of the exterior garage declined to charge for the incident. Police also found her had two active arrest warrants through Hamilton County.
24-009813 – 700 BLK S Lovell Avenue – Disorder / Arrest – Police responded to a disorder at this location. A man was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Underage Consumption of Alcohol after police determined he was not a resident of the home. He also had three arrest warrants through East Ridge for Theft of Property, Exploitation of Elderly Persons, and Identity Theft. He was trespassed from the property at the request of the homeowner.
24-009823 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Aggravated Assault – A 16-year-old female was hit with pepper spray by a passing vehicle while working at the drive-thru window. The juvenile could not identify the suspect but advised the assault possibly stemmed from previous incidents with other juveniles. Staff advised the video for the incident would be available the following business day.
24-009825 – 1300 BLK Laredo Avenue — Deceptive Practice- The resident received a text message from an unknown person stating there was a $50,000 contract on his life. The unknown person also said he would spare his life if he paid $10,000. The suspect described the make and model of the caller’s vehicle. He did not send the money and requested a police report due to the nature of the threat.
24-009829- 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue – Narcotics Violation and Assault – Police responded to this location on the report of a female entering a friend’s home and showing erratic behavior. Officers located the suspect at the residence and immediately observed signs of illegal narcotic use. Police located a purse containing 6.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine and found the woman to be the owner. She was transported to the hospital by EMS. At the medical facility, she struck a nurse across the face. Warrants are being sought for Possession of Methamphetamine and Simple Assault.
24-009830- 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service – A party with an active Forfeiture Capias through East Ridge with an original charge of Possession of Methamphetamine was found to be in McMinn County Jail. A hold was placed at the facility.
24-009831- 3600 BLK Cherokee Ave – Suspicious person / Arrest – Police responded to a suspicious person complaint and located a man lying in the front yard of a residence. Officers found he was highly intoxicated and under the legal drinking age. He was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Underage Consumption of Alcohol.
24-009832 – 1200 BLK Spring Creek Road – Auto Theft – The caller reported a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from his garage sometime in the last 48 days. The victim had been out of town working and found his motorcycle missing when he returned home. The investigation is pending, and no suspects have been identified.
24-009835 – 1200 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Activity – Police responded to this location after the homeowner observed a female walking around her residence. Upon further investigation, Police determined that a male known as “Cha-Cha” lives in a shed in the back yard and had a late-night visitor. No criminal activity was identified.
