Day Shift August 17
23-010446- 3700 BLK Ringgold Road- Burglary- Officers responded to the former Food City location for an open door. After clearing the vacant building, the reporting party reported over $10,000 worth of copper had been stolen from inside the building.
23-010463 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Disorder Prevention – Police stood by as parents exchanged custody.
23-010444- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Domestic Assault- Officers responded to this location for a male party hitting a female outside the gas station. Before police arrived, the male party left the scene. The male party was found shortly after in the parking lot of a nearby business. He was charged with domestic assault.
23-010462- 10 BLK Sheridan Road- Assault- Officers responded to this location for a domestic assault and EMS was needed. Officers met the complainant who stated her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her and taken her children. As officers were gathering information, the suspect arrived back at the residence. An order of protection was verified through Hamilton County Sessions. Due to conflicting statements the assault could not be verified. The suspect was taken into custody for violation of an order of protection.
Night Shift August 17
23-010486 – 4300 BLK Esterbrook Dr – Suspicious Person – Police responded to a person attempting to break into his vehicles and taking something from his carport freezer. Police contacted the individual two streets over and with video comparison identified the subject. He was arrested for criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
23-010483 – 6600 BLK Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop / Arrest – A woman was arrested during a traffic stop for possession of schedule IV, possession of legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia. While at the jail, she had more paraphernalia on her person and was charged with contraband in the penal institution.
23-010471 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Domestic Assault – Police responded to a domestic disturbance at this address. Upon arrival, police located the parties in the front yard of the home. The woman stated that the man had assaulted her, but there were no signs of an altercation, and she refused treatment from responding to EMTs. Police could not determine the true nature of the disorder due to conflicting stories and a lack of evidence. The woman agreed to leave for the evening and was picked up by her mother.
