Day Shift August 14
23-010298- 900 BLK Spring Creek Road- Disorder- Police were dispatched due to a male party acting in a threatening manner toward staff. He disagreed with the treatment his wife was receiving from staff and started to make passive threats toward the hospital. He was advised to leave the hospital.
23-010304- 400 BLK South Saint Marks Avenue- Theft- The complainant advised his Kobalt air compressor was stolen from the business sometime over the weekend.
23-010305- 5400 BLK Marion Avenue- Harassment- Officers spoke to the complainant who advised he and his ex-wife were arrested on 8/12/23 for Domestic Assault. He informed officers he was given conditions of release which stated he was not to contact her in any way. He advised officers on 8/14/23 at 1024 hours he received a phone call from the Hamilton County Jail at Silverdale, but he did not answer the call because he did not want to get into trouble for contacting her. Officers were able to verify the conditions of release for both parties starting at 8/12/23 at 1629 hours. Officers were able to verify through Securus Technologies that the woman did attempt to contact him via telephone. Officers are seeking warrants for Violation of a Protection Order.
23-010309- 3200 BLK Castle Avenue- Property- Police were dispatched to call a party regarding lost/stolen firearms. He stated that he recently moved and left a dark gray gun bag with a Marlin/Glenfield .22 long rifle with a Bushnell scope and an Anderson Arms AM-15 rifle with a red dot optic. He stated he believed the bag was left in a basement closet.
23-010311- 1500 BLK McDonald Road- AOA/Fire Alarm- Police were dispatched with ERFD on an automatic fire alarm at this location. Officers spoke with employees and found they were conducting a fire drill. ERFD returned to service.
23-010317- 5600 BLK Ringgold Road- Burglary Attempt- Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant and observed scratch marks on the door. She advised that they left around 2350 on 08/13 and when they returned around 1100 on 08/14 the damage was found.
Night Shift August 14
No Number Assigned – 3300 Ringgold Road – Traffic Stop – A man was taken into custody following at traffic stop at this location after being found to have multiple warrant out of Hamilton County.
23-010330 – 3400 BLK Shadowlawn Drive – Disorder Weapon Involved – Police dispatched to a civil matter. Police were advised that one person pointed a gun at the other when the other entered without lawful reason. The parties agreed to let the matter of burglary and aggravated assault go. The parties were advised to seek legal help.
23-010336 – 1200 BLK John Ross Rd – Disorder/Vandalism – Police responded to this location on an unknown trouble complaint initially and then returned later in the night to this location for a disorder. Both the reporting party and the witness state that a known party is the suspect, and they witnessed her drive her vehicle into the RP’s KIA Soul. The RP stated she wants to press charges for vandalism at this time.
23-010343 – 1600 BLK Prater Road – Traffic Stop – Following a traffic stop at this location a woman was taken into custody on an outstanding East Ridge warrant.
23-010344 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Suspicious Person – Police responded to a suspicious person at the hospital. The suspect was transported to Hamilton County Jail for warrants out of Catoosa County.
23-010346 – 700 BLK S. Germantown Road – Arrest – Police arrested a party following a traffic stop for possessing over an ounce of marijuana.
23-010347 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place – Assist Other Agency – Police were called to this location after the reporting party was notified of the location of her stolen vehicle. The on-call CPD robbery detective was notified and a CPD unit responded to have the vehicle towed to their impound lot for further processing.
