Day Shift August 8
23-009978 – 1500 BLK McDonald Rd – Arrest – Officers responded to the report of an intoxicated party. Police contacted a very intoxicated man. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-009975 – 900 McBrien Road – Warrant Arrest – After a traffic stop, a party was arrested on multiple Hamilton County Sessions Court warrants.
23-009979- 10 BLK Laurel Lane- Vehicle Fire- Officers responded with ERFD for a vehicle fire at this location. Police remained on scene while ERFD handled the call.
23-009934 – 7609 Standifer Gap Rd – Warrant Service – A man was served with several warrants for theft while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
23-009974 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Rd – Suspicious Person – Police responded after an employee observed a male party sitting on the side of building prior to opening the store. Officers contacted the man who advised he was just released from the hospital and needed a ride to the bus stop in Chattanooga. The party’s information was verified, and a courtesy ride was given to a bus stop on Brainerd Rd.
23-009977 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Suspicious Activity – The reporting party called to report multiple parties were attempting to force entry into his motel room. Police did not locate anyone by the door and upon review of the closed-circuit television surveillance, officers observed a single, female with blonde or light-brown hair approach the door and knock on it. After a short time, the subject left the area in an older model, white Lincoln SUV.
Night Shift August 8
23-010015 – 100 I75 NB – SIA – While police were working a crash on I75 NB involving a tractor trailer and a Tesla, police observed a tractor trailer in the travel lane broken down and blocking traffic. Police contacted the driver and had a tow company respond to tow the vehicle from the travel lane of the interstate.
23-010003 – 900 BLK Altamaha Street – Stolen Vehicle – Police responded to the listed location for an accident with unknown injury. Police were notified by dispatch that the vehicle involved had just been reported stolen within a few streets from the collision sight. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No suspect information was known at the time.
23-010014 – 1100 BLK Mcbrien Road – Traffic Stop – A traffic stop was initiated after the vehicle was observed speeding. A juvenile was taken into custody for Speeding, Unlawful possession of a firearm, and Simple possession of Marijuana.
23-0010019 – 900 BLK Spring Creek – Found Property – Police responded to this location regarding multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia located on a female who had been brought into the emergency room. These pieces of drug paraphernalia were seized by police and placed into the evidence room.
23-010017 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person / Arrest – Reporting party stated that they saw a male taking off his clothes in front of the business. Upon arrival police spoke to the man who appeared to be heavily under the influence of a narcotic. Police placed him into custody for public intox and after a search of his backpack police discovered 8.9 grams of methamphetamine. He was charged with public intoxication and possession of meth for resale.
23-010009 – Greens Lake Road @ Bennett Road – Traffic Stop / Field Interview – Police stopped a Silver Impala. The driver stated he wanted to get home because his wife had a broken leg. Inside the vehicle was a detox kit, fake urine, the odor of marijuana, and an S&W 45cal Handgun. FI was completed.
23-010016 – Glowmont Drive @ State Line Road – Suspicious Vehicle / Stalking – Police responded to a call about a car flashing its lights into the apartments. Police contacted the driver who stated he was engaged in Uber Eats. He was sent on his way. As police were leaving a female stated her ex-boyfriend, the driver, was stalking her. Based on her statements a report was completed after she refused to press charges but stated she wanted to seek an OOP.
23-010018 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – Police responded to a fire alarm at a hotel. Police found that a female had been smoking in her room. The female was identified and found to have an active arrest warrant through Catoosa County. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
23-010023 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Assist Other Agency – Police conducted a traffic stop with a male on a bicycle. The male was identified and found to have an active arrest warrant through Catoosa County for a probation violation. He was placed into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
No Number Assigned – 3400 Ringgold Road – Assist Other Agency – Collegedale Police and Hamilton County SO pursued an aggravated assault on police suspect into East Ridge. HCSO successfully used PIT to stop the pursuit. The suspect was taken into custody.
